Fantastic hotel in a beautiful peaceful setting, the rooms and building are all done to a very high standard, the swimming pool is amazing, perfect for family, nice breakfast, freindly staff, top class spa facilities. travelled with 4 young kids, it was our first time, but we will be back.

We decided to go to Alvito to attend the Feast of Santa Mesia on the top of the mountain in Castello d'Alvito, the village that my grandparents emigrated from in 1909 to come to the United States. We have been there several times and usually stay at the historic Sipari Palace half way up the mountain but they are doing renovations. We found this lovely place and loved it so much we are planning to go again next September! From our balcony we could see the glorious Comino Valley. There are cooing birds in the morning, the mist rolls about and , yes, sounds of a rooster. So charming. There's an infinity pool with a splendid view, dinner by an award winning chef, full sunny breakfast and a beautiful spa. Staff is just great! This is THE place for us now. Hope you get there soon before the word gets out. About a 2 hour drive from FCO. Ciao!

The most amazing weekend getaway spot. Beautiful rooms, pool area and restaurant. The food was amazing and the place was clean and very well looked after. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. My family and I cannot recommend this place enough we felt at home and very looked after. We can’t wait to come back!

We were looking for a place not too far from Rome to spend our first few nights in Italy. And we found this gem. A great setting, lovely rooms and facilities, outstanding views, excellent pool, and a superb, really interesting restaurant for dinner as well as great breakfasts. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, the area is interesting, and we loved it so much we ended up coming back for our last night (and dinner) of our vacation. Can recommend it very highly all around.

We visited Italy in spring this year with friends for a friend gathering. We traveled with a family and had two kids with us. They had enough space for us all in the room. The grounds were beautiful, staff were sweet and kind, food was super yummy. Loved the cooking class with the chef and walking tour in the area that hotel arranged for us. And we had a party in the restaurant in the evening. We ended up having a barbecue in the grounds as well. Was devastated that we couldn’t use the amazing pool yet as it was too cold for swimming. Anyways, I just remembered the trip and realised I needed to leave some praise behind for the amazing time we had there.

This is the most amazing resort! We're so happy that we found this place. From the beautiful rooms to the wonderful restaurant everything was amazing. The setting alone was breathtaking. We took advantage of the beautiful infinity pool (which was heaven) and the spa (which was exquisite). The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend Colle Buono and we can't wait to go back!

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and delicious breakfast surrounded by mountains. My wife and I stayed at this place for a few nights and wished we could extend our trip for longer. The hotel is owned and runner by a family. Rooms and well cleaned, comfy, beautiful views, breakfast delicious, dinner we are going to have tonight and I’m sure it will be great as well. Definitely a great gateway for solo, a couple or a family.

We had a wonderful stay at this newly renovated hotel. Staff is kind and the restaurant (supervised by the 5 Michelin Stars Chef Igles Corelli) is focused on local specialties. We’ll look forward to come back in summer as a stop during our trip to Abruzzo National Park. Highly recommended!
