Lovely couple of nights stay at this resort. Yes there is some building work going on in the distance but it did not effect our stay. It was peaceful and tranquil. The environment is great for walking, running or cycling. Really good for children. I was very impressed with the sport’s facilities. I had never played paddle board before and really enjoyed it. Our town house was very comfortable had everything we needed for our stay. The was a good choice of food at breakfast and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The staff were vey friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in June and it was so peaceful and relaxing! The blackout blinds + silence at night were stellar. The grounds are stunning. Even though they are still building new properties and a beach club, you rarely see or hear much construction. The staff are very friendly and accommodating (Sergio was the best!), the rooms are spacious and comfortable with loads of thoughtful closet space I wish I had at home, and the breakfast is out of this world! The resort is a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to lots of restaurants. However, the food at Verde Lago was excellent. I appreciate the underground parking and convenient lift straight up to your room.

We stayed for 5 days at the start of June and we were very kindly put in one of the town houses. The town house was stunning and had everything we needed to cook and relax, I especially liked being able to control the temperature in different rooms. The beds were very comfy! The whole resort is tastefully decorated, the pool area was clean, relaxing and had lots of sunbeds, and the boardwalks down the beach were lovely for a stroll. Breakfast was great with lots of options, especially for healthier choices and vegetarian food. A special mention is needed for the service, it was honestly the best service we have received in a hotel. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive, and it was my husbands birthday when we were out there and the staff made him feel special and even brought a little treat to our room in the evening. Some of the resort is still under construction but we didn't notice any disruption from it at all, and the completed parts of the resort have plenty of facilities for a holiday. We look forward to coming back when the resort is completed to see how it's changed! We had an absolutely fabulous holiday and can't thank all of the staff enough.

We had a fabulous time! Verdelago was just beautiful; the resort is lovely and the beach is stunning. The food and service were both excellent. We celebrated our anniversary, and they sent a bottle of wine & a cake to our villa. I can't say enough good things about this resort, we'll definitely be going back.

What a beautiful setting for a couple of days rest and relaxation on our way through the eastern Algarve. The townhouse we stayed in (T19) was perfect, with space to relax and a wonderful rooftop area for enjoying the early evening light. The staff were excellent, breakfast was great and I am sure it will only get better as they develop the resort further. The wooden walkway to the beach was a real highlight, especially as this is probably the warmest sea to swim anywhere in Portugal. Will definitely return.

The complex is new, but not yet completed. Completion will probably take a while, as many buildings were still in the early stages when we were there. A large hotel is not being built. Restaurant not recommended. Average quality, very limited food selection. Beach would be beautiful, but during our stay everything was full of sand and seaweed. Swimming not possible, no sunbeds on the beach, no service on the beach. We won't be booking again. Price/performance ratio not there. Shame.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2-room apartment and everything was perfect: friendly staff, beautifully maintained complex, good restaurant with delicious pizza, great breakfast buffet, really nice kids club, bicycles for all guests and a pool with a lovely view.

Estivemos no Verdelago beach club. O espaço está muito bonito e a vista para o oceano é de facto muito relaxante. Mas como fomos almoçar, a nossa expectativa focou-se na comida. Desilusão total. Mal confeccionada, ao ponto de duvidarmos da qualidade da matéria prima. O staff precisa de um supervisor no local.
