Premier Inn Manchester Altrincham

We had a very Comfortable stay, great shower. Clean room, and good location . Couldn't hear the traffic. It really was great value for money!! Would definitely stay there again! The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely!! Handy vending machine in reception area.

Great stay. I just needed a bed for a night and a good night's sleep. It was clean, warm (but not too warm) and had a big, comfy bed. Plenty of hot water (even before 6am) and a good shower. Easy check-in & check-out. Easy parking. My only criticism was that the WiFi was poor. I was on the top floor so maybe it was worse up there, but if you need WiFi I'd look to see if they have a WiFi upgrade option. Everything else was great and I'd stay there again if the price was right (the prices seem to change all the time!).

We stayed here the night before flying out of Manchester airport. The hotel is in a good location for the airport (around a 20 mins drive away from the terminal) and we got our holiday off to a great start here. Our room had a cosy bed for a good night’s sleep. We had dinner in the adjoining Table Table restaurant (George & Dragon), as well as breakfast. The quality of food was excellent - I agree with some other comments that the porridge here is the best I have ever tasted. There is a free car park too.

Well, the bed and quilts are superb, the breakfast, as always is legendary, and the staff are lovely. Altrincham PE is tired and needs updating or replacing. The after stay survey is beyond ridiculous. What are they thinking? All they need to ask is, Did you enjoy your stay? Would you like to tell us anything? That’s all you need. The rabbiting questions they ask demonstrate they either are very insecure, have no respect for our time or the survey company are paid on number of questions and PE have been taken for a ride. We always stay at PE, but I will not do another survey till they write and tell me they have upped their game.

Don’t let the negative reviews put you off. I booked this without looking as I never have major issues at premier inn but had checked them later to find out what is near etc and it did scare me. We arrived to a very friendly welcome and were surprised to find our room was perfectly acceptable. Didn’t smell bad, very clean. Yes not the most modern hotel we have been to and some paint peeling on the bathroom skirting board etc. minor things. Shower has good pressure and very hot. Bed comfortable as would expect at a premier inn. No issues with room temperature. Breakfast was really good. We unfortunately did not eat at the restaurant for dinner but will return here and try it at another point. Location is also very good. Friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights and had no issues at all.

We have stayed in Premier Inn locations for many years. This was by far the worst experience we ever had! That said the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a 2 night booking as we were attending an event nearby. The hotel is very old and shabby. Our initial room couldn't access the general wifi so we were advised to go on to the Ultimate Service for which we had to pay £5. To be fair the receptionist wasn't aware there was a charge. The wifi still wasn't great so we swapped to a much bigger room where the wifi worked fine. The bathroom was very very cold and we had to plug in an extra heater. I will be contacting Premier Inn customer services to tell them about our experience.
