Can’t book on the website or through agents. Waste of time writing to them or even sending a message because they don’t answer. Hotel looks nice and it is new. It’s in an odd position and the wrong end of town if you are looking to be near the tourist area.

I had huge expectations of this hotel. It was a treat for my Husband and I after 3 years of not being able to get away. So firstly not 5 stars at all, possibly 3 and that’s stretching it. Staff spoke hardly any English, was very difficult to communicate. If you go, at all costs avoid the 10th floor it’s below the roof bar and all you can hear is chair scraping. As I arrived at 3.15 in the morning the noise wasn’t present the fist night. Picked up on the second night and did get moved. Smaller room and smaller sea view but was guaranteed the the B block was very peaceful and quiet no noise as the other block we took it and all was fine until a few days in and then the chairs started again this time with plates being dropped and what I assume is trolleys being wheeled on the tiled floor, and music. Called reception, all I could get them to understand is there’s a problem with air conditioning and they will send maintenance. Managed to get through to her that it wasn’t AC and she said will call back and sort. Hour and half later back on phone better understanding man who still was confused at my complaint at 1.30am and asked if he could come to room. He checked out the above area first then called at our room and said very sorry birthday party should have finished. I let it go till the morning. Reception assured me that it was a one off they wasn’t aware of!!!! Nothing else would happen it obs did and it goes on. Food awful people are pure vultures packing sandwich bags with food to take where I have no clue! Nothing labelled no allergy advice. No understanding of what you want forks aren’t heard of as never any available. Warm water on tables. We had around 80 school kids there on our visit who literally took over the restaurant, staff rude, showed no care if they couldn’t understand what you wanted they just said finished. Broken glass by the pool, reported it bar staff just carried on serving for 15 minute the came picked up the large shards and put a lounger over the rest. No minibar as advertised just water. One beer flat as a pancake plastic cups no proper glasses. I could go on and on and on. Avoid at all costs better hotels IE Ezra although 3 stars it’s a true 3 stars. Lovely sea view which we paid extra for and very big rooms. With a queen bed is our only positivity.

As a new resort, I feel a review is important for people considering booking. We’ve had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Maril hotel. The sea view room was beautiful with breathtaking views. The room was always left clean and tidy with towels and toiletries replaced and 2 bottles of water provided each day. A little tip- just remember to push the cleaner icon by the door to ensure your room gets cleaned. We were always able to find a sun bed in the sun and the pool was always clean and the toilets by the pool are always kept clean throughout the day. There’s a good selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect traditional Turkish dishes, along with Italian and English classics. There’s always a collection of beautiful salads and fruits available. There’s a constant supply of food available- check out the afternoon snacks as you can’t beat a build your own burger which we really enjoyed. Also, the Friday night dinner selection was incredible! There are some areas the Maril hotel could improve upon, especially for an English person visiting this resort and I think it’s helpful for other visitors to be aware of these things and for management to use this feedback to improve upon as it could really be a great 5 star, luxurious resort. - Staff lack speaking English - Ultra all inclusive- do not be alarmed with local fruit juices, soft drinks and local spirits. Minimal cocktail list. One beer - Once you check in, you are left to your own devices. Not shown where anything is/ no explanation. Spa facilities were not explained - A hotel map would be beneficial to help guide people with where things are - Mini bar is a bottle of water in your room - Entertainment in the day does not exist. Entertainment in the evenings is poor and could be improved - Relaying of tables isn’t quick enough. There were numerous times we had to seek for our own cutlery - Food should be labelled with a name of the dish and an outline of the contents for allergies - Tables are laid for a minimum of 4-6 people. There are no tables for 2, but breaking these down would resolve the table shortage at meal times

We stay in this hotel for 10 nights. From the first day you can clearly see that IT IS NOT a 5* Ultra hotel!Service, cleaning are unprofessional and poor.Private beach is a joke((( you can't call it private !!!very dirty and small, It's about only 10 metres long, sunbeds broken and too closed to each other.Beach full of rubbish and cigarettes buts, sea was dirty and overcrowded. Hotel staff is too tired and unprofessional. We can't blame them, because they" are working too hard and for little money "(as they said). Very poor management, they should provide training for the staff ( customer service, bar service, cleaning ,,,,everything needs improvement). Would never recommend this hotel and area for holidays. The worse holiday experience we ever had!

Currently staying in this apprentice rated 5 star hotel, absolutely nowhere near this rating… 2-3 star at best… food is terrible, drink choice is crap and staff service is dreadful, staff are ignorant have limited customer service skills and they keep running out of food , drinks and even cutlery … Would never come back or recommend to anyone. Joke of a place

This could be a 5 star hotel it's built to be one ! The hotel is clean and in a great location. Spa was lovely as well My feedback is to help the hotel get better as I understand it was only opened in 2021 1. I couldn't actually tell you who the manager is no one even looks like they are in charge but keep reading and you may understand why that is . 2. Food needs to be labelled as to what it actually is, it's pot luck ! More alarmingly what about if people have an allergy !!! 3. Need a guest book in the room as staff do not barely speak much of anything other than Turkish so we were not told anything on arrival at all had to find out as we went along - suggest staff wear a badge stating which language they understand would help with communication as hotel has multiple nationalities staying 4. Hotel needs a proper bar also pool bar staff need to wear uniform not t shirts they also should not be allowed to play there own music 5. Bar is basic local drinks for a 5 star would expect a more extensive menu 6. I would expect water to be in bottles not childrens sippy cups 7. All inclusive Mini bar is not a bottle of water ! 8. Housekeeping do need to make sure they get in all areas not just the ones you can see - although room was clean to see and towels changed 9. There isn't actually additional a la carte restaurants it's one restaurants which does have an amazing view ! with theme nights at additional price of 5 euros a head ( nothing is explained at all no menu just what you get served is whatever they have ) 10. Coffee is terrible ! Not 5 star it's machine coffee although lovely coffee bar down the front espresso bar and reasonably priced 11. Gym is old equipment for a new hotel would expect it to be new 12. Beach isn't a private beach it's a section of sunloungers - there is a hut down there where you can get cold drinks which is great we didn't know though as no one told us another person did after our 2nd day down there ! 13. No ashtrays on the balcony in the rooms (appreciate not everyone is a smoker ) but people are which resulted in butts being thrown off balconies and our balcony looked over a flat part of the roof and butts everywhere !!! 14. Communication communication communication ........ things went wrong as they do such as gas on beer went but no one understood what the issue was so we were served another flat beer. I would go on - don't get me wrong I know I am abroad but as a guest (especially in a 5 star ) you should be able to communicate and ask for what you want 15. Would also note our 13 year old was asked for her Instagram account by one of the bar staff - totally unacceptable but we didn't report it as no one would understand what we were talking about Overall I wouldn't tell people not to stay here the hotel was good just not 5 star and as advertised !

After staying in a hotel in Didim, it closed about 10 days into my holiday, I was moved to this hotel and I have no complaints. It's the newest, tallest and probably best hotel in Altinkim, located on the edge of the resort. The hotel is very grand and luxurious-slightly clinical and there are probably more luxurious hotels, but this is most definitely a 5 star hotel. It was nice to stay in such a place in the Pamdemic, as everything looked spotlessly clean. The rooms are just WOW. Make sure you get a Seaview room-not really for the Seaview, but the rooms have floor to ceiling windows that were just amazing. Waking up to the view and having a nap to the sunset was beyond amazing. The rooms are large with a Mahooooosive bed and georgous wooden floors. The bathroom is very nice and modern, though I prefer to have the option of a bath-no big deal that they didn't though. The pool outside was small, but adequate with sunbeds. There is a bar next to the pool, which served all your usual drinks and a bonus of fruit juices which were really nice. The restaurant is on a higher up floor, surrounded by glass windows, overlooking Altinkim. For the food, you get your bits-salad, bread, a tonne of other stuff if you like, then the waiter comes over to give you the menu options. I really liked this, knowing that the food was freshly cooked. The food was really nice, with a variety of options. The wine was very nice also. There was just one 'entertainment' lady on-as it was quiet-Pandemic-who spoke to guests on occasion, but in terms of entertainment, there wasn't any-in the day or evening. In 'normal' times there is, but I cannot comment/give an opinion on them. There are also more resturants, but for the same reasons, they were not open. I also treated myself to an afternoon in the spa. I don't normally use the hotel spas, but it was literally new, georgous and oooozed luxury, so I couldn't resist. My treatments were absolutely divine. It was reasonably priced TBH, though I'm thinking this was because it was not only towards end of season, but due to the 'situation' at the time, you had more room for bargaining. Overall, I had a splendid week here. It's not a hotel I would had chosen, as the one I was staying at was a beach resort, and I love being on a nice beach-they do have their own beach, but it's nothing to write home about, and you've got the main Altinkim beach near by. I would describe it as more of a business hotel, but had been told that in busier times, it's more for a holiday-with more things available to cater for a tourist. Would I return here? Again, as in all my reviews, I never really return to a hotel/area once ive holidayed there, as I like new experiences in terms of both the hotel and resort. Would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely, on the understanding that it's got less of a holiday vibe to most hotels and if lots of pools and a decent beach is a must, this is not the hotel for you.

Great hotel has everything you need for the price I paid it was fantastic. Yes the staff don’t speak much English but if you take the time to talk to you they try their best to understand and help. Room was lovely and spacious and modern with water refreshed everyday. Food was plentiful and always something to have. There is so much food you would never go hungry. Never had to fight for a sunbed always loads available and a great location to walk into the town. Loved it and would return
