After staying in a hotel in Didim, it closed about 10 days into my holiday, I was moved to this hotel and I have no complaints. It's the newest, tallest and probably best hotel in Altinkim, located on the edge of the resort. The hotel is very grand and luxurious-slightly clinical and there are probably more luxurious hotels, but this is most definitely a 5 star hotel. It was nice to stay in such a place in the Pamdemic, as everything looked spotlessly clean. The rooms are just WOW. Make sure you get a Seaview room-not really for the Seaview, but the rooms have floor to ceiling windows that were just amazing. Waking up to the view and having a nap to the sunset was beyond amazing. The rooms are large with a Mahooooosive bed and georgous wooden floors. The bathroom is very nice and modern, though I prefer to have the option of a bath-no big deal that they didn't though. The pool outside was small, but adequate with sunbeds. There is a bar next to the pool, which served all your usual drinks and a bonus of fruit juices which were really nice. The restaurant is on a higher up floor, surrounded by glass windows, overlooking Altinkim. For the food, you get your bits-salad, bread, a tonne of other stuff if you like, then the waiter comes over to give you the menu options. I really liked this, knowing that the food was freshly cooked. The food was really nice, with a variety of options. The wine was very nice also. There was just one 'entertainment' lady on-as it was quiet-Pandemic-who spoke to guests on occasion, but in terms of entertainment, there wasn't any-in the day or evening. In 'normal' times there is, but I cannot comment/give an opinion on them. There are also more resturants, but for the same reasons, they were not open. I also treated myself to an afternoon in the spa. I don't normally use the hotel spas, but it was literally new, georgous and oooozed luxury, so I couldn't resist. My treatments were absolutely divine. It was reasonably priced TBH, though I'm thinking this was because it was not only towards end of season, but due to the 'situation' at the time, you had more room for bargaining. Overall, I had a splendid week here. It's not a hotel I would had chosen, as the one I was staying at was a beach resort, and I love being on a nice beach-they do have their own beach, but it's nothing to write home about, and you've got the main Altinkim beach near by. I would describe it as more of a business hotel, but had been told that in busier times, it's more for a holiday-with more things available to cater for a tourist. Would I return here? Again, as in all my reviews, I never really return to a hotel/area once ive holidayed there, as I like new experiences in terms of both the hotel and resort. Would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely, on the understanding that it's got less of a holiday vibe to most hotels and if lots of pools and a decent beach is a must, this is not the hotel for you.
