I had an enjoyable 2 night stay here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The only downside is the lake access isn’t great. There is almost no beach and the ground is rocky. I swam for about 5 minutes and got out.

Clean room with nice breakfast options everyday. Big bed and bath with really hot water! Parking is available for scooters or cars. One bad thing was that our safe was broken so we couldn’t use it and the hotel didn’t do anything about that when we complained. The island is still developing and you are in nature so there were spiders and centipedes in our room, which is make my husband kill. But it’s to be expected in such a remote part of the world. Not many dinner options nearby, just two or three tiny restaurants. So, if you don’t have transportation you are kind of stuck with those options.

This place has some pros and cons I would give it a 3.5. The breakfast was great and it is a wonderful location. You are right on the beach and super close to El Ojo de Agua and Balgue for restaurants. However, it needs a refresh ASAP. The rooms are really crowded with unnecessary furniture and were not super clean. The lunch and dinner was ok, but not great and kind of expensive. Also, we were told that the price for credit card and cash was the same. However, when we went to pay we were told there were extra fees for a card, so we had to go back to the ATM.

Lovely clean room with terrace, nice garden with super comfortable hammocks. No pool but not really needed as direct access to lovely beach. Can’t comment on the food as the restaurant wasn’t open (hopefully it is now) but the staff were super friendly and helpful to us

The restaurant is very expensive and I wished they would post the menu on their website. If I would of known how expensive the restaurant was I would of stayed somewhere else. They charge $14 US for a salad which it would cost me almost $19 Canadian. For the quality and quantity of the food is was ridiculous !! Also Noldan (front desk ) was quite rude at times and didnt have his info amd facts right . He tried to tell the ferry ran every hour on Sunday which was completely untrue. It was very quiet and boring here for a solo traveller. I regret not booking somewhere else

The room was large, impeccably maintained, modern, and new. Comfortable bed, hot water, a/c, nice towels, great Lake view, directly on the lake, and the grounds are a well maintained tropical garden. The owner and the staff were extremely helpful and the free breakfast was a real treat. They planned our tour itenerary, made ferry reservations, recommended places to eat, and made us giant breakfast sandwiches with coffee to take with us on our final day when we checked out early. Very nice place!

Das Personal war total freundlich und Carlos hat uns gleich zu Anfang viele Informationen gegeben. Die Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett sind groß und die Klimaanlage sowie Ventilator haben gut funktioniert. Wir können hier Zimmer 1 und 2 empfehlen, da kann man sehr schön auf der Terrasse sitzen bei angenehmen Wind. Im Restaurant kann man auch gut essen, was schon wichtig ist, da fußläufig keine Restaurants in der Nähe sind. Morgens kann man am Strand einen schönen Sonnenaufgang sehen mit Blick auf den Vulkan Maderas. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, abseits von den ganzen Hostels für jüngere Leute. Das Personal achtet auf Sauberkeit, auch die Hängematten auf der Terrasse waren gewaschen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort hinfahren. Achtung, am Wochenende sind die Fähren voll, man sollte unbedingt vorab reservieren, speziell mit Auto, sonst bleibt man hängen.
