Located in a historical building in the old town of Altafulla, Hotel Gran Claustre is a peaceful stay in this busy tourist location.
Plenty of historical sights to enjoy around it.
Rooms are clean, even though could do with a new hand of painting and more attention to details: like the shower which made a mess every time because it is not fully closed, so some water makes it out and floods the bathroom floor.
There is parking space for cars, right in front of the hotel but they charge 6€ per day even for hotel guests, however drive a few minutes further up and there is plenty of free spots.
Swimming pool is nice, boutique style, not big but well taken care of and picturesque.

The hotel is very nice, the staff is very friendly.
Rooms with very comfortable mattresses and you rest very well, in a very quiet environment.

Charming hotel, out of the ordinary, magnificent area of the historic centre of Altafulla, located in a very quiet area and conducive to rest. Breakfasts (they serve it to you on request... great), fantastic lunches and dinners (live performances very interesting musically), with good service. Beautiful beach less than 15 minutes walk away, with very good places for tapas and dinner. Area with few inhabitants but with a range of very interesting bars and restaurants. Very nice memory of the stay.
