We visited Toggenburg for the first time and decided to stay in the Hotel Sternen, a place we found in TripAdvisor. The room was surprisingly big, the bath a bit small. Better than the other way around. Everything was clean and working. The desk staff was friendly and efficient. A good place to stay.

We stayed for a night on a spur of the moment trip to the region. We were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the hotel. It is so cozy while not being small. Lots of space to relax and a large breakfast area. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. We would stay here again!

We went here for hiking trip with some friends. The hotel is amazingly located in a beautiful landscape. We arrived late and still got a delicious dinner and water restaurant. Everything is local and the food is simple and delicious. Some parts of the hotel are a bit hedge, but the beds are super comfy. I had a great sleep before and after my hike. Special, I would like to mention to friend of the staff that's super supportive and give your advices whenever you need.

We enjoyed every bit of the trip in this hotel. The location is a wow. Rooms are very clean and spacious, and the stafs are wonderfully caring and kind. Excellent breakfast and service and entertainment. Staying in this hotel made our trip exceptional.

Everything was top notch from the beginning till the end! I booked a table outside a day in advance for Saturday evening, which was very lucky! Service is fast and friendly. We ordered tomato-paprika cream-soup with cheese; summer ravioli and chicken steak from grill. All dishes were just amazing! My compliments to the kitchen staff! Sardinian wine is also very good! It was a perfect match to our dinner.

Even if not staying here, the Hotel Sternen restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Their dinner menu which is served from 18 has great options at reasonable prices. The entrecote was superbly prepared and served with a huge portion of delicious salad. The dessert menu is fairly simple but ice cream is always a good option on a sunny summer evening.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was very good and not to forget the delicious food in the restaurant. Ideal location. We all felt very comfortable. Thank you again for everything!
