Excellent Service. Road conditions weren't good, but they communicated with us all the way from Walvis Bay, and came to assist us when we got stuck in the sand on the way.

Had no booking. Owners not there. Reception was the poorest we've had in the whole of Namibia. Weren't interested to help us at all. They only had 1 other guest. Very disappointed . We're so looking forward to our visit but afraid to say, we left feeling slapped in the face

Situated in a smartly renovated century old building, that provides good home style cooking (breakfast included and dinner on request) with charming staff and an owner well informed about the rich local history - ie the Duwisib Castle next door.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reception was a little brash. Enjoyed dinning with the owner who had interesting stories to tell and very knowledgeable about the region. Dinner was appetizing and wholesome.

The 2 of us were the only guests that night. However, we got a full choice of foods for dinner and breakfast buffet. Great food. The senior farm owner spent hours telling us about the farm and castle. Apparently the castle is closed until further notice. And yet, the owner tried to contact the guard for the castle to open it for us. Unfortunately that was not possible on short notice.

We were 6 people in 3 vehicles which required electricity and Duwisib kindly made an arrangement for us. The ablutions are cleaned and have everything you require to be comfortable. The stand has a tap, a braai area and washing up facilities to make your life easy. Wifi available and the wonderful aromas of the cooking for guests were very convincing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were neat and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Christian, was extremely informative about the history of the castle and surrounding area. We will definitely be staying there again.
