Best customer service. Was not able to stay at the Marriott, but we did have a conference there. Briana welcomed our group every morning with a smile no matter how unorganized we were…just trying to order our coffee. At times she was alone but that never stopped her from smiling and telling us. Don’t worry, I got you!!

I have been coming to this location for a few months now, and I must say that the staff at this location is phenomenal! However, I would like to recognize the staff that I communicate with the most, starting with the Operations Supervisor, Mr. Joshua Large. From day one, Mr. Josh has exhibited exceptional customer service, including patience and compassion. His calm and reassuring demeanor always makes my stay stress free and even more comfortable. Mr. Josh got promoted not that long ago, and I was so happy for him! I definitely had to show my gratitude with a small token of appreciation! :-) He's very hard working and is always willing to assist you in every way possible. In addition, Mr. Josh knows which rooms are my favorites and always go out of his way to accommodate me. Josh, you truly are a consummate professional, and I cannot thank you enough for your thoughtfulness, patience, kindness, and expertise! :-) The second person that I would like to recognize is Ms. Chelsea at the front desk. This beautiful woman has the personality to match and has a very warm and friendly demeanor. It is always a pleasure seeing Ms. Chelsea and chatting with her. She is another staff member that actually takes the time out to see which one of my favorite rooms are available. Thank you Ms. Chelsea! :-) The Operations Manager, Mr. Earl, is a very joyful and delightful person! We even have our own special greeting now. Okurrrrrr!! (In my Cardi B. voice) LOL! Thank you Mr. Earl for your professionalism and for all of the laughs. I feel like I have known you forever, and I always look forward to seeing you! :-) To the GM, Ms. Resi and the AGM, Ms. Takira, I thank both of you ladies for the wonderful team that you have at this location. I even adore the newest staff member, Mr. Don. He is very friendly and fits right in! In addition, the housekeeping team is amazing! The accommodations are always clean, comfortable, and consistent. And let's not forget about Ms. Sheila, the bartender. Her drinks are refreshingly good and the food is delicious! :-) I will end this review by saying that I absolutely LOVE this location! An extra bonus is the sound/sleep machine in the king executive rooms. The lobby area is cozy and spacious with a cool and comfortable vibe. This hotel is for sure, my home away from home, and exceeds all of my expectations. It is beautiful inside and out, and adjacent to many shops and restaurants within the Avalon area. In addition, the hotel is very safe, quiet, always maintained, and has plenty of parking. The only downside to the parking is that they do charge a $16/day parking fee, which clearly I am not a fan of. Disclaimer: this was a complimentary stay/room I was umpiring a softball tournament near Alpharetta and had stayed at another hotel, but had to change hotels after two nights. I needed to do laundry for the next day and Travis at the front desk immediately told me the prices to wash and dry and gave me change for my dollars. We discussed the incidental fee for the other hotel ($50 a night) and the other hotel's parking fee ($5 a day). The Courtyard only charges $20 a night for incidentals and no parking fee. This alone made this place a better stay, but the hotel lobby music was outstanding too. Lots of TVs and places to sit. A family brought in dinner and watched TV in a booth like it was their own personal restaurant.

During my recent stay at the Marriott in Alpharetta, Georgia, located within the vibrant Avalon shopping complex, I encountered a series of service-related issues that, regrettably, detracted from the overall experience. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, my expectations for service and hospitality were not met, which was particularly disappointing given the hotel’s potential. The property, with its inviting decor and appealing food and beverage options, certainly has the makings of a top-tier hotel. However, my experience was marred by lapses in basic hospitality services. Upon settling into my room for the night, I found the bedding to be insufficiently warm. Despite my request for an extra blanket, I was informed that due to staffing shortages, I would need to retrieve it personally from the front desk—a request that was unreasonable given my state of readiness for bed. The following morning brought further challenges. The television malfunctioned, displaying an incorrect channel and marred by a persistent green line across the screen. While I managed to navigate around the channel issue, the faulty display was an unwelcome inconvenience. Additionally, my attempt to prepare for an important morning meeting was hindered by plumbing issues in the bathroom. The lack of hot water and a clogged drain resulted in a far from satisfactory shower experience. Despite reporting the problem, the delayed response from the engineering team forced me to proceed under less-than-ideal conditions. As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, I had anticipated a level of service and attention to detail that this stay unfortunately did not provide. While the Marriott in Alpharetta has the potential to offer a superior guest experience, my visit was undermined by these fundamental service failures. Future guests should be mindful of these potential issues, as they could significantly affect the enjoyment of their stay. I am hopeful that the hotel will address these concerns promptly, ensuring that the high standards expected of the Marriott brand are upheld.

pristine, refurbished hotel. This hotel was in a great location location, and I would suggest it to everyone. Numerous hotels in the vicinity are in dire need of renovation due to their extreme wear and tear. i stay here once a month nice place

Average hotel. Above average cost. They tag on $12 per room for parking. Whether you have a car or not. Lounge and breakfast hours very limited. Food choices were also limited. And expensive. Unless you just want a seven dollar bagel. Location is good.
