Our whole experience there was excellent,an ideal family hotel for skiing ! Would hope to go back for our 3rd visit next year Rooms allowed our family of 6 to stay together Food options were plentiful and delicious The close proximity to the ski slopes is such a bonus especially with kids Plenty to do at the hotel if u don’t want to ski also , adults only pool , spa area Kids are very well catered for , kids club, swimming pool , climbing wall , bowling Overall a great hotel to stay

We have just returned from a week stay at the Galtenberg. Having researched in advance, we expected it to be good, but it surpassed all expectations!! Set in Inneralpbach at the top of valley between the mountains, it is the perfect destination to relax. So peaceful with lovely fresh mountain air. The huge range of entertainment for children is impressive, and our 9 year old daughter loved every minute. The staff in the kids club (open daily until 9pm) are great with the children such that they always want to go back for more. They are also very flexible, you can drop off the kids whenever you want and they’ll ensure they have a great time!! Another excellent feature is how the hotel treats children (even the little ones) like mini adults, on arrival they receive a wrist band (which also acts as a room key), they have access to a family spa area (allowing them to experience a sauna and steam room at suitable temperature), and they can also have a half-portion of the adult main dish if they wish. The food is also great. Not only do they offer a wide range of dishes (to suit children and adults), but the meal slots are very long, with breakfast served 07:00 - 10:30, lunch 13:30 - 16:30 and dinner 18:30 - 21:00. All of this means you can relax without feeling you need to get to the dining room at a set time. Further, if you do plan a whole day out, the hotel will provide a packed lunch instead. The robot waiters in the restaurant add a further sense of fun for the kids, as do unique additions on different evenings that ranged from 2 chocolate fountains, Popcorn machine, Waffle maker. The lunchtime doughnut wall is pretty impressive too!! Our daughter also particularly loved mixing her own smoothies at breakfast time. The Alpbachtal card also offers great value. In addition to the huge range on offer by the hotel itself, you can use the bus service down the valley (hourly service), access 4 cable cars and the Lauserland play area that tops the nearest mountain, all at no extra charge. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. Our waitress for the week (Bogi) even came across to say goodbye and wish us a safe trip home when her shift ended on the last evening. It’s these little touches that mean a lot. We will definitely be returning. Ps. The leaving surprise is a fabulous touch. Well done to the team on making a great holiday experience.

It was a real holiday for both parents and kids, with delicious food, brilliant childcare facilities for babies up to teens, an amazing swimming pool and the ski slopes just across the road. Everything is so convenient and the customer service is top class.

We are a family of four with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. This was a perfect ski Holiday for us. Both the kids enjoyed and everything was well taken care of. We took uber from the Innsbruck airport which was about 50 minutes. costed more than expected but worth it. Going back to the airport from resort must book something in advance. Hotel can help.

We just returned to the U.S. from a weeklong stay at Galtenberg Resort, and we wish we could go back. It was the perfect home base for our family of 5. We stayed in the 3-room "Heaven Suite Deluxe," which provided us with plenty of space and two full bathrooms. It was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent - they basically feed you all day if you want with a breakfast, afternoon buffet, and dinner! Our kids loved the buffet, and even enjoyed the main course options. They tried (and liked) many foods for the first time. The hotel offers an impressive range of amenities and activities for kids - we have never seen anything similar in the U.S. Thank you to the staff for a truly magical week.

My husband and I stayed at the Galtenberg 17 years ago and had very fond memories of the small family hotel it was. Coming back with our children (10 and 8) we hoped it would live up to the memories. It did! It has been significantly developed in an amazing way. Loads more facilities and catered for the whole family (we were travelling with brother who has teenager). However, it still had that family warmth that we loved. We referred to the hotel as a ‘hometel’ - it had everything you could want and endless activities to get involved in. Sabine and her team have done an amazing job and we can’t wait to visit again and share this beautiful hotel with friends.
