A very tranquil, beautiful hotel in the mountains yet close to Bilbao. The road up to the hotel was a bit scary for me the first evening in the dark , but my partner loved the challenge and the destination is most definitely worth it! The view from our room was just amazing with the mist rising up from the valley in the morning. The people running the hotel are very lovely and helpful. We stayed there for seven nights whilst exploring the surrounding area and loved it.

Our family stayed for 4 nights in early February 2022. There is a new owner who speaks French, Spanish and better English than my Spanish. The hotel is 3kms up a windy, narrow road. Care and attention are required but after the first couple of times we could enjoy the view! We walked to the top of the mountain where there are fabulous views of Bilbao. The beds and pillows were comfy. A very tranquil destination but with the ability to go to Bilbao by train, bus or car! We loved it, even my teenage daughters. The food was great and the owner was happy to cater to our likes and dislikes. The weather was good for February and the views stunning! We look forward to visiting again!!!

Agroturismo Ordaola is a total gem! Located 15 minutes drive from Bilbao ferry terminal and the city of Bilbao, this pet friendly hotel/restaurant is located in an beautiful setting which will delight hikers and nature lovers. The beautiful food prepared and served by the owner ( former owner of a prestigious French restaurant) is especially not to be missed. The owner is lovely, very hopeful and will make you feel at home. This is by far the best deal ( especially if you book directly with the owner) that we have found at the footsteps of Bilbao. We will not miss an opportunity to be back.

Just arrived at this hotel, nobody at reception when we arrived then when we found someone couldn’t speak any English and didn’t even know we were coming and it was book a week ago and paid for, if we hadn’t already paid would have found somewhere else. But views are nice.

Muy buen trato y muy buena comida. mucha cantidad y buen precio. La habitación estaba bien y el baño también. Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que busque un alojamiento diferente y cerca de Bilbao y de la playa. La recepción muy amable, con opción de hablar en francés.

En plena naturaleza. Muy cerca de Bilbao. Muy agradable. Disfrutamos del lugar, limpio, cómodo, tranquilo, la comida excelente. Fue un placer pasar unos días allí. Nos atendieron y orientaron para disfrutar aún más del sitio. Gracias Carlos por todo! Volveremos!!!

Brutales los desayunos de Carlos!un encanto de hombre muy servicial que subía y bajaba a mi suegro en su coche particular al centro del pueblo a diario,hemos quedado muy satisfechos con el trato, la limpieza y el servicio. Muy recomendable, en verano vuelve la familia de visita y sin duda volveremos a este increíble alojamiento de ensueño.Gracias!!
