Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat

The place was incredibly cozy and spotless. As it’s glamping, there were inevitably some mosquitoes and spiders, but mosquito repellent was provided inside the tent, which helped a lot. We had our own private campfire, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Every staff member at the reception was kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The lighting around the site was beautiful, and the facilities were so well maintained. We were able to create such wonderful memories here.

What a beautiful spot! They really do think of everything. Very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Scuttlebutt tent. They provide you with plates, silverware, mugs, glasses, BBQ lighter, tongs, spatula, dishwashing supplies, towels (at the pool as well), paper towels, tissues, shampoo, body wash, coffee, tea, sugar and cream. They will provide you with buckets of ice at the bar. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so we did not get to enjoy that, but it really was too warm to even care about that. We were pleasantly surprised that the tent never got really hot. It is under the trees and stays relatively cool and cools right down at night (we did bring an extra stand up fan, which helped a lot). We enjoyed some drinks by the refreshing salt water pool and ordered pizza (they have gluten free pizza 😁) to take back to our tent. We walked around the entire property and it is beautiful. Customer service at its finest. We will definitely be back.

The accommodations were exactly as advertised, luxurious! They considered comfort and convenience in every detail from robes to breakfast delivery. The meals were fantastic. I didn’t expect a pool, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge amenities. Very well done, thank you!
