We stayed at the Studios, which were at the quieter end of town. All rooms face the sea and there is a lovely pebble beach opposite. There is a handy walk way to get in to the sea and then it is like a large sandy pool. Lovely. Our room was a little small and could have done with clothes driers on the balconies (as we saw in the other two hotels). However, everything else was truly fantastic. The breakfasts and dinners served at the Beach Hotel (a few minutes walk away) were tasty and abundant in choice. The choice of four swimming pools was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also excellent value.

We are still here Day 5. This wasn't the Hotel we had been booked into. We had a room at Alymrida Beach, problems with room so receptionist advised us another room at their sister hotel. We were taken here. Irini welcomed us & we viewed 2 rooms, modern bathroom & a full sea view. A 5 minute walk to sister hotel for breakfast. We took the room at the end of the corridor One part of room would change , outdated kitchenette, sink, 2 ring hob. As breakfast in other Hotel , a beach a hop away, sea views it doesnt need the self catering element Our bags brought over by mini bus. We settled in and advised on Sunday a better room available. We have found the Staff welcoming, lovely big lobby with comfortable sofas. No fight for a sunbed in the afternoon. We used the other Hotel as shade in 32 heat until 1pm . Breakfasts are lovely, good selection of hot & cold buffet. Orange juice very nice and not concerntrate. We did move rooms and showed us a lovely bright with bigger balcony. Staff had gone out way to make us welcome, a slight blockage in toilet quickly sorted . Irini a star, so friendly & helpful.

Wife and I have holidayed in Greece since the mid eighties on a lot of islands, Crete included and I don`t usually bother reviewing anything. However, we have just returned home having spent two weeks in Almyrida studios and have to record our delight with the experience. The room and common areas were kept spotless, bar meals are were all very good, and everything worked ! The staff were, without exception, genuinely pleasant and helpful and Receptionist Ireni went the extra several miles to make sure we had the greatest stay.

We were upgraded to the studios… what a fabulous room overlooking the front with sea a couple of yds away. A balcony were we could chat to neighbours. Clean and serviced every day… comfort second to none… it was perfect for 2 weeks

We love the Almyrida studios. And have returned there three times.Its location is literally right infront of the beach. So views from the balconies of all the rooms are wonderful. It is small and select so the staff really do get to know all their guests. Artimis and Irini are brilliant at their jobs and could not be more friendly, welcoming and always happy to give guests their time, expertise and knowledge. They truly help to make the Studios unique and special. The housekeeping staff are excellent and also very friendly. We had a welcome basket with wine and roses one day and every day the towels were modelled into amazing shapes. The rooms are well equipped, spotless and with loads of space. There is a rainfall shower ( together with a handheld/or fixed shower too) bottles of shower gel and fluffy towels are provided. Breakfasts are taken in the sister hotel Almyrida Beach hotel and are so good. There is a huge choice of dishes. Everything is fresh and replenished regularly. We had dinners there too on a few occasions and these were of the same standard and extremely good value. My only concern is that if the Studios become too popular we might not get a booking !!!! A huge thank you to everyone who gave us such lovely holiday experiences.

The loveliest friendly staff., nothing is too much trouble. Great location right on the beach. Spotlessly clean bathroom and well equipped kitchenette perfectly adequate for a holiday when I don’t plan to cook. Looking forward to returning very soon.

Lovely room with sea view. Great welcome and fab breakfast! Lots of loungers on the beach and very friendly welcome. We loved the pool at the Beach hotel and its facilities? We would definitely return.

It’s our second time we have stayed here in the studio’s.Great location right on the beach charming staff from the house keepers and Managers Irini and Artemis who just make you so welcome Fabulous!!!

The location across from the beach was lovely. The rooms were large young for three people. The hallways were noisy as there was no floor covering, so if a guest closed their door too hard (on it's own) the noise level was high
