Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

A beautiful luxury boutique hotel that is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. Our 1 week vacation was perfect. A special thanks to the warm welcome from the front desk staff, the attentive and excellent restaurant service, our delicious daily buffet breakfast, live music night dinners at Alsteri, the property restaurant. The rooms were very beautiful, quiet, and kept immaculate by housekeeping. The pool area is quiet and inviting, however, we opted for the shallow pool-like waters of Almyrida Beach located directly across the street. The seaside village has many options for delicious Greek food and fun shops. We were impressed with the high standards of service, but what we loved best was the connections we made with the Aloe Boutique team. The laughs, the smiles and the fun conversations will always be remembered. We hope we will have the good fortune to return to this beautiful hotel.

From the time we arrived our stay was all that we wanted. Greeted by the amazing Anelia at reception, with a glass of chilled Prosecco. A really lovely helpful lady who gave us loads of hints and tips of the area and our planned visit into Chania. She is a total asset to the hotel. Our room was poolside and very clean and comfortable. The shower was fab with plenty of hot water at any time. Care had been taken to assure you had all you needed to make your stay comfortable. The cleaning crew did a great job and there were clean towels daily and it seemed clean bedding most days. If I had to be picky a slight lack of storage space, or do I just over pack. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh fruit, pastries and omelettes cooked to order. We didn’t eat here at any other time so can’t comment on that. The pool was very nice with plenty of loungers. Pool towels provided by the hotel which you could use for beach and change for clean ones whenever needed. If you wanted anything, drinks etc there was a call bell to attract a waiter. Again if I had to be picky I’d say the music played in the bar and pool area was a bit intrusive and not relaxing. But the whole team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We also used the well equipped gym, only the once we were on holiday after all. We both had massages in the resident spa which was lovely and relaxing. We spent most days at the beach which was over the road. Sun beds were 6 euros to hire which included the umbrella and a chilled bottle of water with cups. These were provided by the appropriate restaurant behind. You could order food and drink to the lounger but it was nice to go and sit in the restaurant. The whole beach frontage was lined with tavernas and restaurants and we never had a bad meal. All very reasonably priced too. This resort had everything we wanted in a Greek holiday. Everyone, from the hotel staff to the shops and restaurants were super friendly. We took a bus into Chania which was an adventure but as we wanted to come back later we got a taxi. A beautiful town worth the visit. We also walked up the hill to the village of Plaka and the views out over the bay were stunning. I would like to thank everyone at the Aloe hotel for making this a holiday to remember.

This hotel truly deserves to be ranked No. 1 in Crete! The staff are outstanding—special thanks to Alena at Reception—who made us feel genuinely welcome every single day. The hotel is spotlessly clean, offers a fantastic variety of breakfast options, and has very comfortable rooms. It’s perfectly situated at the end of the main street in Almyrida, a charming and friendly village with plenty of beachfront restaurants. We dined at a different spot each night, and every meal was delicious and freshly prepared. Very rarely go back to the same place but this place is exceptional.
