Check in was smooth and security was good. excellent location. a kitchen space would be nice, but besides that, a great experience

Not a good nights rest So being a hostel, I did not expect much. The location is good and the staff pleasant and helpful… What was never mentioned was a night club or disco that was essentially in my room!!! I swear the quietest it got was at 0700 when the city workers came by with a leaf blower to clean up. The best bits of this property are in the pictures. Enjoy them and save yourself a poor nights sleep.

No one actually works here, the manger just sends a bunch of texts about how to get into the building, and they also don't actually reply like a human to any questions you have they just "like" your WhatsApp message if its a yes. The worst part though I that they're lying about about the aircon, there's a unit in the rooms but you can't use it and when I asked how to turn it on the manager just never responded and hung up when I called. The place is the sketchiest establishment I have ever stayed in and that is really saying something. There's also a massive heat wave right and the rooms are dangerously hot. This place should be 1/3 of the cost for the "quality" or lack of there's plenty of places that are in the exact same neighborhood with low costs per night. Did I mention the glass in front of the entrance is shattered where someone obviously tried to break in?

It was a clean hostel quite new Positive points were that it was located in the center of the city next to the river, the beds were clean and towel and extra cover were provided Less positive points were that there was no breakfest room, only a microwave and a frodge and a vending machine. Even a glass or some cutlery were absent. They said you had to find food in the neighberhood. There is no breakfest foreseen and with 23 euros that makes it expensive for a portugese hostel with 2 euros extra for a locker and 2 euros for access to the storage room The reception guy did not help to carry bags A really no frills hostel. It was noisy light sleepers best to avoid this place
