I stayed at Hostel Doma three days … nov 2023 .. it was a very pleasant stay.. the hostel is very clean and cozy .. nice location , easy access. The receptionist Jameela was very nice and helpful.. will visit again 😊

I had an 11 hour layover between my flight from Dubai to my flight to Atyrau and was really searching for a hotel near the airport that was convenient and reasonably priced. Grand Hotel Erbil is both of those. I made the booking online with the option to pay on arrival. The booking made provision for a free shuttle pickup from the airport and a very reasonable transfer back the following morning. The hotel confirmed everything by Whatsapp. Contactless payment. Clean room. Clean linen. Friendly and efficient service. I ordered a simple burger and chips via WhatsApp and the food arrived hot and fresh. Minibar is fully stocked and reasonably priced. Their menu is extensive (55 page book) and they cater for everything from a bowl of hummus to platters of meats, cakes, cocktails, etc. For a traveller, this hotel is well worth it. Even the photo did not do, took a video that it is impossible to download .... Command, quick choice of the hotel, chose this - close to the office, next park)))) These are the only advantages of this hotel! Furniture, plumbing old, ripped, The exit to the balcony and the whole view to the park is lost because of the plaster ... Girls on the respiratory can't help, in the morning the feather broke, nothing did, waited 20 minutes and horns for breakfast and then work with unsuspension hair. Breakfast is a normal Swedish table, no fruit, little dishes. I would have made a continental breakfast then. I had a feeling that I got into a boardroom for the elderly, there was a lot of them there for some reason. Next time I will never stop there.

Our July 3-12, 2023, family stay at the Novotel Almaty City Center Hotel for our son and daughter-in-law’s Qyz Uzatu bride’s wedding was memorable and outstanding. The staff was accommodating beyond expectations. Examples of services and assistance furnished include: 1) gorgeous congratulatory bouquet of roses, cake, and bottle of champagne for bride and groom upon their arrival, 2) Front Desk Receptionist Elmira ordered, negotiated, and “babysat” multiple wedding flower bouquets the day of the bride’s wedding event, 3) Deputy General Manager Yevgeniy personally helped finalize five 10-day room reservations, following up multiple times ensuring our full satisfaction, then emailing us a farewell and thank you note for our stay, 4) Front Desk Manager Altyn happily assisted with various requests, 5) entire staff was cooperative, positive, and professional, and 6) hotel restaurant’s breakfast buffets were delicious, and lunches were quite satisfying, too. Additionally, the hotel location was fantastic b/c: it’s adjacent to the large public plaza with memorial and fountains, as well as the tram to the nearby mountaintop which had restaurants, zoo, amusement park, etc.; walkable city center with nearby restaurants, shopping, green spaces, and more. Based on our family’s experience, we zealously endorse and recommend the Novotel Almaty City Center Hotel and will fondly remember our stay and the hotel’s kind, thoughtful, and service-oriented staff for taking care of our family.

The breakfast was good, but not fantastic. The room was good and clean, there were some supplies in the toilette. Parks and places around the hotel are nice, and you can have a good walk around, if you wish. There were always noise (I'd assume cleaners did some work) quite early in the morning. Another issue is that the breakfast time in the morning is until 10am sharp, which is not convenient for people travelling from Europe for leisure. As I understood, there're no alternatives available. We asked a bottle of water and an additional blanked to the room, and it was challenging to get them. Particularly, with the bottle of water, as they refused to put the cost of it on the hotel room, but requested a cash payment. It was a surprise for us.

Cheaper, next to mega shopping is very convenient. When you book, you will live on the same day, confirm that the room is very fast. The next day after the breakfast, you will be sent directly to the room. The breakfast is quite rich.

В полне хороший отель...да уставший...но всё же....полотенца для рук ног лица и тела... мыльно рыльное всё есть...бар битком....чай сахар есть....фен чайник.. есть гладильная комната...хорошее расположение....рядом много что есть...и дати место тихое...

Good hotel in fairly good location. Room is pretty good size. The windows open. The air conditioning works. They give ample free water. Friendly staff. The breakfast is pretty good, I would say that they could add more vegetables and some greens. Otherwise, fine. The shower is good, good water flow. The temperature can be a bit of time to regulate. There could be a sign from the main street alerting people that the hotel is there. All in all, a good experience.
