I found one member of staff here to be particularly rude and unhelpful. Though both did not really have any patience for questions and seemed to think I was deliberately trying to inconvenience them, this did not make me feel very welcome.
The shared rooms themselves, the mens at least, do not have any privacy, youre on an open bunk bed, not an enclosed one with a curtain as would normally be in a hostel.
Otherwise the facilities are reasonably clean and the location is fair.

I stayed in this hostel for three days, booked a room with its own separate toilet, but it turns out that there are no such rooms at all. The administrator is very rude, gets personal. The hostess of the hostel said that their hostel on this platform does not exist at all and that it is not her fault that they promised me here. The administrator complained to her owner, although I did nothing wrong, and the owner began to scare me with eviction or a fine. There were many English-speaking guests, and the administrator does not even know basic words, like "toilet paper" ... I do not advise anyone to stay here. It was also very very dirty here, the blankets stank

No curtains for the dorm beds nor plugs (Extension plugs are around but you have to fight with the other people for them) kitchen is small, and while the bathroom (and singular shower per gender) is fine and wifi, my main complaint is that the woman in charge was not REMOTELY interested in being useful or friendly to the tourists to her country. She wasn't available, made ZERO effort in translating/ understanding foreigners, begrudgingly answered basic questions and tried to divert them to her assistant (who wasn't around a lot) whenever she could before vanishing again

Close to bus station and many attraction in almaty city. Also have good value in price, check in time 14:00 and check out time 12:00. Have laundry and kitchen, not very loud at night have a good sleep here. They provide some amenities with additional price

Toilet and shower facilities need upgrading. Shower was in same room as toilets so door which opened directly onto the hallway and couldn’t be locked. Absolutely no privacy when getting out of the shower. Pillows need replacing as smelt like stale sweat. Hostel would only accept cash but would not give us a receipt.
