Bamboo Lagoon Backwater Front Resort

What a find...everything has been utterly amazing 😁 staff were soo obliging friendly. Nothing was too much trouble . The food was 👏 especially the king prawn stroganoff for sea good lovers. I had it with fried veg rice ..delicious,a MUST have . The beds are 5 star comfortable as ate thr pillows. Im a real fuss pot about such things . Great night's sleep. We had a deluxe family room over looking the beach..tropical gardens . What more could you ask for . We have sadly moving on tomorrow after a 5 night stay to Alleppey for our last 3 nights of a 2 week holiday. Highly recommend this great ..laid back hotel. Ps. As most of this coast the sea is very dangerous for swimming out more than shoulder hight . They do have a beach guard on watch . Shallow dipping is fine though to cool off. Enjoy. We unfortunately didn't get to stay here due to personal circumstances. However, the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating when my partner contacted them about our booking. They were responsive and generous with making changes (even though they were not obligated to under our booking terms.) I would recommend Bamboo Lagoon because of their excellent customer service, and I sincerely hope to stay here if I return to India.

Plus: the resort's tuktuk driver, the lighting of the garden, the breakfast and the swimming pool, the employees who take you to the mainland. The *** who brought the WiFi router was also very friendly Negative point. All homestays we have had in India so far have been better in terms of service, hygiene and room. We expected more from a resort. We often had some miscommunication with the staff. This can happen. One of the staff members started whining about us to another guest. We also often got the feeling that this boy found us annoying. We ordered some snacks for lunch. This looked like reheated fried food, fried in old frying fat. When we pointed this out, the staff didn't seem to understand what we meant. We decided to eat somewhere else in the evening. The boat tour was 4 times more expensive than the boat tour from other parties. We decided to take the boat tour from this hotel because we were assured that the quality of their boat tour was very good. Unfortunately the quality was disappointing. The boy from the boat didn't say anything and we stood quietly on the water for a long time. This saves gasoline (?). We felt ripped off. We tried to discuss this. This was not possible. The staff reacts quickly offensive or defensive. Try to listen

Excellent service and facility. We, three families had a overnight stay. Overall, food, pool, people, rooms and good service made the stay a very memorable one. A real boutique resort, well furnished and latest rest room gadgets. Kudos to Vimal and team, keep it up!
