Rishikul Kumbh Cottages

Great place, good food, lovely location...awesome experience. A word of caution don't book the add on's ( tours, boating rides etc) as they don't help. Special mention Shivam Agarwal and Ankush Gupta...very helpful even though inundated with calls...but try hard. The guys at the front reception treat you as if you have come to beg them...even though the gentry is paying for 5 Star rate!!

We managed to book a room for Kumbh Mela 2025 with just few weeks advance notice, thus I am thankful we found one and the overall experience was great!! Said so, dealing with the camp has been a major struggle, most likely cause most tourists are Indian and the staff is not really used to an international crowd. Ever since booking we tried to arrange a pick-up transfer from Varanasi. Despite tens of emails the answers received were always vague and we finally had to arrange the transfer elsewhere. Also, the subsequent exchanges with the person in charge of the daily activities (walking tours,..) were as inefficient and frustrating. What pains me a bit is that the camp makes ample use of mentioning they are the top rated on TripAdvisor. This is factually correct but I wonder how it is possible. The room/tent were ok-ish (not really a luxury tent, freezing cold at night and hot during the day, lots of dust as surrounded by sand..but not sure much more can be expected). The food was really good! Location, within the overall grounds of Kumbh Mela, was whatever (not great but not awful).

We were here in last Kumbh. The Camp site had the best of all. We have also stayed in Camp sides in Pushkar and Jaisalmer as we belong to Jaipur itself. We had all 4 meals included in the room tarrif. Food served was of pure desi ghee and satvick. We went as 5 couples and selected Krishna Niwas which was their luxury Camp. I must say keeping a Camp site in mind these guys had delvered an exceptional hotel like service. There was dedicated travel desk which took us for boat rides on day one. On day 2 we had witnessed awesome Akahara tour , Naga Sadhus, Aghoris, Kinnar Akahara, Pilot Baba with certified guide given by the camp side on an Innova. Evening they had born fire and mild music sessions. Best part was that we as a couples got quality time and our kids were buzi playing volleyball, football and other games in the resort. We performed short havan and pooja on last day of our stay and went with a heavy heart. Looking forward to visit in next kumbh. Thank you v much entire team and super duper thanks to Varun & Harsh.

Rishikul Kumbh Cottages offered a pleasant experience with a few hiccups. The natural setting near the Sangam was lovely, and we enjoyed the peaceful environment and sight-seeing. The meals were healthy and fresh, though a bit repetitive over a longer stay. The staff was generally helpful, though there were sometimes moments of miscommunication. Overall, a good stay with potential for a better experience.

Rishikul Kumbh Cottages was an average stay for us. The cottages were clean but rather basic in terms of amenities. We liked the organic meals, but the menu was bland. The staff was polite but occasionally hard to find when we needed something. A fair choice for a short stay.

Rishikul Kumbh Cottages provided a decent getaway. The natural beauty of the Sangam area was a definite highlight. The cottages were satisfactory but not particularly luxurious. The meals were wholesome. The staff was courteous, though at times we had to wait for assistance. A nice place to stay if you're looking for tranquility, though it could use some upgrades.
