Hotel Shree Kanha Residency

We are from Assam and visited Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbha Mela.We booked Hotel Shree Kanha Residency from 9th January to 13th January,2025.We were given the number of CMD Shri Shashwat and he pleasantly gave us the location and guided us and also arranged for Manager Shri Nikhil Pandey to contact us.Shri Pandey arranged transportation from Railway Station to hotel late at night. Arriving at the hotel we found our room very spacious and comfortable.All arrangements were available and working. The bed sheets, bathrooms and other facilities were near and clean.The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. I must also mention Manager Shri Ajay Singh who delivered all requests promptly. Another Manager Shri Abhishek ji also gave us good local knowledge about the Kumbha Mela and other important details. The hotel also has a superb restaurant Zimana where you can get varieties of delicious vegetarian dishes. All in all it is a fantastic hotel, situated very near Railway Station,in a quiet locality. I recommend anyone visiting Prayagraj to contact the hotel and stay there.Wish the Hotel all the best and may they maintain the high standards. Regards,Jayanta Barua, Guwahati, Assam

I will give them one star because they just allow random dudes into the gym who call themselves relatives of owner and bully guests, play obscene lyrics music super loudly and threaten. I was told the gym is opened till 7 pm for guests even though it’s opened till 9 pm for guests. When I complained about loud music I was told that it was gym. I think safety is a concern at the gym and stairs can be accessed by every random person. There is no card access to gym which is a standard in a lot of hotels and it’s surprising that owners’ relatives can bully guests with their loud music in gym. Worldwide people use headphones or AirPods for music and not disturb other guests with their choice of music. I would go to a pub if I have to hear blaring music and not workout in the gym. This experience ruined my stay. The management should control access to legit people and also set common sense rules for users. To be fair, the staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are cleaner.

Rooms are clean. Reception and staff is cooperative and polite. Location is in the mid city. Food is good. Guided me properly for locations to visit. Also booked the boat for triveni sangam and boat owner received us.

Room is not prepared in advance. We have to ask for every small item like hangers, towels, toilet paper etc. Food is ok but charges are exorbitant.

It’s a pleasure to hear again this time they have everything in order , and very good staff specially Nikhil Pandey at reception 👍, and also special mention for their food taste and quality.

I stayed here for 3days and the front desk manager is very rude, and service was horrible, bath room and room are filled with insects no one asked about that. Total terrible service
