We really loved this hotel, all the staff were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Our room (102) was perfect and we will certainly re returning. The breakfast was continental but was great for us and there was plenty of it. The hot cholocate at breakfast was one of the best i've ever had and I quickly became addicted to it! The food at Nikos was stunning and I can really recommend the plessas palace club sandwich special, very yummy. the drinks are a great price . Maria organised a taxi for us on Saturday afternoon to go into zante and she made sure everything was okay with the driver and welcomed us back when we arrived back at the hotel. I cannot fault this hotel or any members of the family/staff, everyone was so helpful and really made our short break amazing

Fabulous small family run hotel a two minute walk into the centre of Alykanas . The family are lovely and can’t do enough for you .. there’s a bar/ restaurant at the side run by Nikos , food and drinks were spot on and very reasonable.. The pool was always clean as well as the sun beds and sitting area .. Rooms were what we expected from this type of hotel .. Fresh towels daily and room cleaned also daily . Breakfast is of a typical Greek standard.. we are in the process of booking for another 2 weeks next year 🇬🇷❤️

We did turn up to a friendly welcome but sadly changed when we didn't book their breakfast plan or aircon. We had read the aircon was free but it wasn't. A nice large room and kept clean. The bathroom door handle was hanging off. The hair dyer didn't work. No battery in the smoke alarm. The tv was broken. The electric kettle needs replacing as steam burns your hand when your pouring. So now we're paying for stuff that's not available as it's broken. It took 4 days of constantly reminding them about the hair dyer and finally got a new one from Nico. I wouldn't stay their again. They don't like you leaving to go and eat out or use another accommodations pool. We did hire a quad bike from them only to be told how it worked in greek from their grandad. It could be a lot better if they only do what they say they do on the advertising.

Travelers should be warned that the both hotel and the area are addictive. One tend to find that people return year after year. Over the last 24 years there has been an improvement in the professionalism of the hotel. Like all places some things can be improved. But these are relatively minor. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff (family) friendly and helpful.

We stayed in room 311 which had a balcony and pool view. Quite small room but bed very comfortable. Very clean . Some people moan about the air-conditioning as you have to pay cash on arrival-approx 10 euros per night. We paid and found it worth doing as the weather was 29° most of the time we were there. It worked very well and was very cold. Clean towels and sheets every 3/4 days. There is a breakfast buffet which is more than adequate. Cereals, toast, eggs, cheeses ham etc. This is replenished continually. There is a bar near the pool that serves food which is very good and reasonably priced. If you want a full breakfast they will make one for about 8 euros. They have weekly bingo and a bbq. The best feature of this place is the staff. Mainly run by 1 family who couldn't be more helpful and friendly-especially the young girls who work in the bar and Maria in reception. They will do thier utmost to help. You are within walking distance of many shops and a lovely beach. Try baker street bakery and cafe for a coffee and cake which is about 5 minutes away. Remember you are going to Greece so things are not the same as uk and thier approach to safe electrics and level paving is interesting!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for you stay. Don't bother with the negative reviews, you can never please everyone. We loved it

A very friendly welcome. We were made to feel like 'friends' (first time at this hotel) Easy and hassle free check in. Our rooms were spotless, and had everything we needed. The swimming pool is great, lovely and clean. The sunbeds are very sturdy and comfortable. Just one thing we noticed, and that was people were 'reserving' their sunbeds with towels, but not seen until the afternoon. Perhaps this could be looked at. Niko's bar and food on site was fabulous, the atmosphere was brilliant, great choice of drinks and the food was always great. We didn't have a bad meal once. The staff were always polite and friendly, they also work very hard. They are a credit to the team. A slow 4 min walk down the road and you have a choice of other bars and restaurants. The Plessas Palace is in a perfect location. I am now looking at booking another holiday there next year. I would definitely recommend The Plessas Palace. Thank you for making our holiday brilliant.

Our recent stay at Plessas Palace Hotel was a mixed experience. Upon arrival at 5:30 am, we were met with a dark, seemingly closed reception, which left us waiting for 6 hours before we could check in. This was not the ideal start to our holiday, and it would be helpful if the hotel could provide clearer information about their reception hours. The room itself was basic but clean, providing suitable accommodation for the price we paid. However, we encountered some plumbing issues that caused an unpleasant smell, and the shower was not mounted, making it difficult to use. Additionally, the unexpected charge of 70€ for air conditioning, which was advertised as included, was disappointing. In the future, I would avoid hotels that impose hidden charges for essential amenities like air conditioning. On a positive note, the bar offered a nice, budget-friendly atmosphere, and the staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The food at Nikos was fantastic and reasonably priced, adding to the enjoyable dining experience. The swimming pool was a refreshing highlight, although the practice of reserving sunbeds with towels as early as 7 am was frustrating. The standout feature of Plessas Palace Hotel was undoubtedly the friendliness and dedication of the staff. Despite their efforts, the combination of initial inconveniences and additional costs means we will likely seek accommodation closer to the beach with included amenities and better-maintained facilities in the future.

What to say about Plessas 'Palace'. This is a small to medium-sized hotel in Alikanas, which is a fantastic tourist town - vibrant and cheerful. Alikanas and Zakynthos as a whole created a fantastic holiday for us. Plessas Palace, however really let us down. The hotel is very basic, which is no problem as we were looking for a budget-friendly holiday, but there were several things that put a downer on our experience: despite some of the other reviews, the rooms are not clean - dirty fridge, dirty cups and glassware, cobwebs under the desk and beds, suspicious stains all over the extra blanket in the cupboard and ants on the floor making a feast out of old watsits on the floor when we arrived, which were probably sourced from numerous ant nests on in the walls outside on our patio.
