Apartamentos Globus by Be Alicante

The location is excellent. In the middle of the old town, close to the beach (a 7 minute walk), restaurants all over around. There are two rooms ( a bedroom and a living room) so you have enough space to relax. Very good bathroom, bright and nice. The apartment was very clean and in the kitchen you have all you need, cuttlery, plates, pots, cups, a microwave oven, a sandwich toaster and a Tassimo coffee machine (two capsules are waiting for you at your arrival and that is all, after that you have to buy them). The air conditioning is very good. We felt safe all the time, even on the very narrow street that goes to the apartment. There are mini markets very close, two minute walk! We got an umbrella for the beach (from the reception) and that was very nice because two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach are unbelievably expensive, 27 euros!!) The apartment is noisy, because the restaurants below are full of people till late in the night. Early in the morning there are noisy machines that clean the streets. We knew about the noise from the reviews, there are persons who do not care about that, so you have to decide if you choose this apartment or not. We stayed for 9 nights, there was a cleaning on a Monday and one on a Sunday, just before our leaving. In the bathroom there are only towels, toilet paper and 2 little bad soaps. There is a very old washing machine on the sixth floor, not in the apartment (on the terrace of the building). The TV has only a few Spanish channels, you cannot watch it if you don't know Spanish. The apartment is a little dark because you have to keep the curtains on all the time, there are windows just in front, over a narrow street.
