The room did not feel like a typical hotel. Only the bare minimum, including uncarpeted floors, limited lighting, and no decorations. The bathroom light was on and the bathroom door was closed when we arrived, causing us to knock to make sure we weren’t surprised by an unwanted guest. The shower floor had a thin layer of dirt. Only one of the glass panels of the shower door opened, so you had to enter the shower and hide in the corner until it heated up. The front desk staff was ok, but didn’t make us feel very welcome. Maybe this is in a rough part of town, we just needed an inexpensive place to stay after a long day of driving.
