A good choice in Algiers. The toilet is very spacious. One drawback is the lack of choices for the breakfast. Only bread, coffee and a soft drink are provided.

The service is okay if you speak French or Algerian.
The bathroom will flood your bedroom when you shower. The internet is extremely patchy. Breakfast is a piece of bread with coffee. The room is very tight.

The hotel was pretty new. My room was comfortable and quiet, but pretty small. The location was great near the transport hub of 1er Mai. There were a lot of fast food establishments and also a few restaurants closeby. The breakfast was very basic (coffee, croissants and boiled eggs), but at least the croissants were big. There were several WiFi networks to connect to in the room. My laptop was able to catch the signal of so many networks that always at least one of them worked decently, but my phone received the signal only for a few networks and there were times when none of them worked. Not all of the front desk employees spoke English, but during the day there was always someone present who did.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at the Elghanami Hotel in Algiers. We received a warm welcome from the moment we arrived, with truly attentive and helpful staff. We had a very comfortable, well-maintained room, and the service was impeccable throughout our stay. We would particularly like to thank the team for their kindness and responsiveness: we encountered a small battery issue with our car, and they didn't hesitate to help us quickly and efficiently, which was a great relief. A big thank you to the entire team for a very pleasant stay. We will be happy to return!
