First one should be aware that the hotel is the only place to eat in this village. There is nothing else. The room we got is in need of renovation and the beds are rock hard. Breakfast was ok. First time I have felt that others reviews really doesn’t match what we experienced.

Excellent business dinner with colleagues. Kind and attentive service. Good professionalism and kindness. Really good food: excellent soup with chilli and seasonal pumpkin. The venison fillet with sprouts and currant jam is soft and different from the usual.

We had a Jochen Schweizer voucher and decided to use it "in the robber's territory". In our opinion, the surrounding area is particularly suitable for hiking and cycling holidays. When it comes to accommodation, there were light and shadows. Light: very friendly staff, very tasty food, good breakfast, clean room with newly renovated bathroom, parking spaces directly at the house. Shade: Arrival only possible from 4 p.m. - you waste too much of the day, the hotel is located directly on a street with moderate traffic, the room couldn't really be darkened (no shutters, the fabric of the curtains wasn't light-tight), which was particularly negative Comes when the sun is shining early in the morning, the mattress was rock hard, so sleeping through the night was out of the question. The fan in the bathroom felt like it was "hellishly loud" - at night the light stayed off when going to the toilet so as not to a) wake up completely and b) not wake up my partner with the noise of the fan. Our conclusion: We would come here again at any time to eat, but not for an overnight stay.
