Red Confort Hotel Boutique

I have stayed at this hotel before but in the summer. I loved the pool and park at the back of the hotel for walks and wind down time. The food is lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. This time I stayed in winter and found that the hotel allows people to smoke in the back restaurant and closes the front dining areas. As there is no means of the smoke escaping the air is blue and hard to breath, eating in this unless you are happy with heavy smoke is deeply unpleasant. I found my hotel room was at the top of the stairs on the first floor and the smoke from the restaurant was so heavy it travelled up the stairs. I spent the entire night feeling like I was choking and when I got up in the morning everything I had to wear smelled of old cigarette smoke as did I. The next day I requested to be moved to another hotel, I will never stay at this hotel again and I have requested that no one else from my company is booked here either as I prefer to be in environments that are not detrimental to my health.
