The Mirage Resort Alexandra Headland

The unit we stayed in was a home a way from home with all the mod cons with the luxury of high end apartments rooms were acceptionally spotless and presentation of the whole precinct gardens pools foyer staff and more what's going to bring myself and family and friends to come back as a long term holiday destisbtion. Super close to Alex surf club and ocean that's a treat in itself! Kids, what kids? With the facility itself don't really need to leave tennis courts basketball and bbq areas it's the bowling alley and the skate bowl that gave us memories we will continue to make whilst staying in the sunshine coast. Rhea and her team are always welcome with open arms and we didn't have to ask to much before all our needs were met this place gets a 5 star because it's location facilities internet apartments are under rated and the team here are just wonderful and makes our quality time a pleasant quiet when needed and lots to do so close to restaurants bars and the beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment for 10 nights. On review of photos and other reviews these apartments are all different and it seems a bit of luck what room you get. Our apartment overall was ok, but the furniture was tired, the beds sank in the middle, the bathrooms had mould in the drains and a horrible smell, every bedrooms window had gaps and a wind constantly blowing in. The cleaning in the apartment wasn’t great with dirt and dust through out. The property itself was great, the gardens and pool were fantastic as well as the gym and sauna. Communication from reception about baby cot and after hours check in was great so no faults there. Location is also really good in a nice quote area set back from the beach but walking distance to cafes, bars and restaurants.

Well maintained building and facilities. Very spacious clean unit with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Easy walk to restaurants and beach but away from the noise. Would happily stay again.

The Mirage gives the best of both worlds, 1 block back from beach with ocean views with the added benefit of being off the main road so a super quiet stay. Accomodation is excellent we stayed in a 2 bedroom w/ocean views it was clean and well appointed. The activities are endless with beautiful pools, gardens, tennis court, basketball court and gym. The groundskeeper does a magnificent job keeping the place immaculate. Rhea and Brooke are top shelf hosts who we were nothing but impressed with. There are a lot of options on the Sunshine Coast but struggle to see anything which ticks as many boxes as The Mirage.

Disappointed especially for the price It is not a serviced apartment. The supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc is very minimal for 2 nights. You have to buy all the essentials like salt, pepper, cooking oil, washing powder etc which all adds up. Yhen had to keep washing oour towels, hand towels etc frequently for a long stay. The place had hair on the floor in bathrooms and bedrooms, mould in bedroom and bathroom and thick layers of dust on aircons. One of the toiletd didnt flush preoperly either. The outdoor bbq lights went off every 8 seconds so had to keep waving your hands in front of it whilst eating and cooking. The good part about the place was it was walking distance to restaurants and beach. The pool was also great for all ages.

Amazing place to bring the family. Facilities were great and the location was very central to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Happy to return here.
