Wentworth Hotel

The property provides spacious, clean rooms with sea views and modern amenities. Guests appreciate the excellent breakfast variety and service, as well as the convenient beach and town access.

We really enjoyed our mid week break during a really hot spell. We were so pleased we chose to include the evening meal in the package, all the meals were excellent. We have strict dietary requirements and some meals were specially made for us, which was impressive!! We like a twin room so we were in a second floor room in the building behind the hotel, this was quiet and suited us. We were pleased to find that our room was not too hot despite the heatwave (and a fan was provided). I think the expression 'old world charm' sums up the atmosphere, and there is an emphasis on good service from friendly staff. It was lovely to have our meals in the conservatory with a sea view and to walk straight out of the hotel onto the beach. I can understand why people stay at this hotel repeatedly.

My wife and I booked a stay at The Wentworth, it was on one of their last minute offers. We had been to this hotel before, but it was many years ago. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly, and helpful receptionist. Our room, a sea facing room, was very clean and had everything we might need. There is plenty of space outside to sit and relax, with lots of colourful planted tubs, and displays. With views of the sea. Inside, again, lovely comfortable lounge areas, well decorated and clean. My wife was particularly taken with the beautiful flower arrangement in one of the lounges. Dinner was delightful, staff friendly and helpful. Menu choice very good, we only wished we were staying more nights to take advantage. Service was very good and dinner well paced. We were impressed by all aspects of our dinning experience. Breakfast again was very good, lots of choice. Well cooked and service efficient. We were seated for both meals in the conservatory, so views again of the coast. Adjoining is a large dinning room, clean crisp linen and flowers on the tables. The hotel was quite busy with guests, but we never felt on top of each other because there is plenty of space. We both wondered why we hadn't returned sooner..............especially as we only live in North Norfolk. We shall return.
