BQ Delfín Azul Hotel

Review of BQ Delfín Azul, Alcudia, Majorca We recently stayed at the BQ Delfín Azul in Alcudia and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a refreshed and modern decor, and the rooms are a decent size — clean and functional, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The pool area is a good size and well-maintained, making it a great spot for both relaxation and play. The hotel is especially suited to families, with plenty for kids to enjoy and a safe, family-friendly vibe. One downside was the noise in the early hours, mainly from people in the surrounding area rather than the hotel itself — something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. Another point to note is the lack of air conditioning, which isn’t switched on until the summer season, making the rooms a bit warm at night during spring stays. Despite those minor issues — which are largely outside the hotel’s control — it was a lovely base for a holiday. The beach is just a short walk away, and there’s a wide variety of places to eat nearby offering good quality food at reasonable prices. Having a Lidl supermarket at the top of the road is also a big convenience, especially for families. All in all, a solid choice for a family-friendly break in Alcudia.

A fantastic, family friendly hotel. We have been going every year and never disappointed. Always clean, friendly staff and for my son, most importantly a great buffet breakfast.

I arrived at this Hotel 11/07/2025 as i read the reviews previously when i was allocated my room which was 543 and it was a double bed i went to the reception and spoke to ma polite member of staff who called her boss, she came and said you had three request which was low floor, ajoining rooms, and vegetarian food. I went on to explain that out off the three requests they were only one. So we were moved to room 117 leaving the rest of the family on the 5th floor. once settled into our room i then notice my bag with my diabetic medication had gone missing, went back to the reception and was greeted with and unpleasant member of staff and explained to her about the importance of my medication she was not interest to what i was saying but said she would email the housekeeper, i said thank you and left. Next morning i approach the reception again and it was the same person who booked us in on Friday i again explained to her about the medication and she said she would speak with the housekeeper again i thank her .That same day i had a survey to fill in for the hotel as the food was awful no staff spoke, ants under the table on 2 occasion's which was rectified straight away. myself and family had to eat out most night as the food was not up to it's 4 star.Next evening i was called over as they had concerns about my review i said if you don't like positive feed back don't send an email again she mentioned about my diabetic medication i said i was more upset that none of the staff bother4ed to put me in the right direction to get the medication i needed and the consequences going without it for a week The only good thing about that hotel was the kids entertainment as they girls done every6thing to make each and every child happy i won't be returning to this hotel
