Great hotel clean lovely swimmingpool,shuttle to beach from sister hotel clean beach towels every day,good breakfast.. Negative point is that it is too far away from Castellammare. There are no buses ,walging is not an option , You can only get there if you have a hired car.

· I like everything modern and elegant, and this hotel certainly is. The highlight of this resort is the spa but we were not there for this package, so I honestly do not know what it looks like. I heard it's great and relaxing! In some ways, the hotel is still new (2021 built) so the last floor (5th) was still not available and it will be a piano bar soon to open. It was not a big deal for my husband and me. The beach is the reason I travel to Sicily in general and to see family. The only pool they have is nice, but we used it scarcely. I wish they had a separate pool for children as they take over and I rather not use it. The view from our balcony was lovely. We spent a lot of time out in the nearby town of Castellammare del Golfo versus Alcamo Marina where the hotel is located as we had done on previous trips. The breakfast served downstairs (basement) was excellent and all the staff and personnel (front desk, barista, servers/attendants at the restaurants and breakfast area were polite and kind, as well as the shuttle driver when we used it once to reach the beach across the hotel. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Mini fridge well stacked but $$. Parking was not an issue for our rental car. At night, it was noticeably quiet, unlike other hotels and resorts. Shuttle service to the beach and sister hotel nearby is available free of charge. Disliked · It is much smaller than I imagined it. I visited the previous summer a huge and real resort style at another location in Sicily, so I would not call la Battigia a "resort" as it is a bit misleading; it's a genuinely nice and beautiful hotel with a lovely spa. The fancy look hides some "cheap" construction material where the builder may have cut some corners as happens in many places worldwide; however, whatever maintenance issue we experienced, it was addressed efficiently and expeditiously. One side of the door frame detached itself as we entered the room on one occasion, luckily, maintenance fixed it rapidly. The area surrounding the beach is not clean and needs some revamping. Overall, the place is a bit pricy for what is offered, and the location stands out as the only modern construction in the middle of old buildings. It's kind of weird. The only restaurant on site was expensive, and we preferred to use it only once and eat out. There's an underpass (shortcut) to reach the beach and lido of the hotel but we chose not to venture, plus, we had a car after all. Some of the most common amenities were not in the room: an ironing board and iron (had to ask for one) and the espresso coffee machine or plain old coffee machine is only available in certain rooms, most have a tea kettle. For coffee and espresso drinkers, this is a negative.

Fabulous hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. They made us feel very welcome and anything we wanted was provided. Spotlessly clean, modern, elegant bedroom with good equipment. Also, a lovely terrace. We ate in the restaurant. Good menu and beautifully presented food to a very high standard. We will return.

I want to thank you Josephine in the hotel Spa for the lovely massage. She was very kind and helpful. Her hands are gorgeous. No words for the great service, great staff. Super Job! I love everything about the resort. People are super nice. Italian hospitality on top standards. Thank you all.

This hotel has lived up to its name and reviews. Considering it's only recently opened, the facility's are stunning. Our room was outstanding 10/10. The staff listened to my request sent via email before our arrival, which was so pleasant. I really must stress how good and helpful the staff are here. Both Lucia's on reception and Valeria. Fredrico on the bar, Anna on breakfast service. Francesco who works on the reception also help translate everything with the spa team to get me the right treatment. Nothing was too much for them to help us on every request...amazing and beautiful people. The shuttle service to the sister hotel was very helpful, as there is a stunning beach to relax on. Sun loungers are also free of charge and part of the hotels private section of the beach. The only issue we faced on our trip here with the hotel, there was no lunch menu offering, which was really disappointing for this quality of hotel. I highly recommend the hotel to provide something light for lunch as nearly all guests was eating at The Bluewater Cafe located on the beach, or the Kraken Cafe Bar situated across from the hotel a 10 min walk. I would definitely revisiting this hotel again. The perfect place to chill, relax and do nothing. 🥰

Firstly, I need to emphasis the quality, kindness and willingness of the staff. Also the spa and treatments are 5 stars. Unfortunately, if I had known that the Hotel was not yet fully functional, no roof terrace, no easy access to the beach and was located in a predominantly residential area with no amenities within easy reach. I would probably have not booked it. The Hotel has a sister Hotel over a kilometre away that is right on the beach, between the 2, they offer the services they portray on line and through booking companies. But, this information was not easy to access. The hotel itself is new and stylish, though the walls are thin between the rooms. We were moved once and happily, to a smaller room but with a simply huge sundeck all to ourselves. This made or stay a happy one. I am sure it will improve, but it is not finished and is remote from the beach, with an infrequently used railway and a row of houses between you and it. The amenities, other than the spa are also mostly at the other hotel, with only an a la carte restaurant and a small bar in reception currently open. Short stay for the spa only.
