Indoor pool the water was old the hot tub doesn’t work breakfast was bad

I made my reservation and prepaid online but they would not let me check in for 20 mins. until it showed up in their computer system even though I should them emails/vouchers that confirmed all my details. Then they said it did not include a mandatory Covid cleaning fee of $6.00! The next morning the ice machine didn’t have any ice and the only 2 items for breakfast was waffles or cereal. I would stayed at this type of hotel again!

Requested ADA accessible room, or at least 1st floor room. Checked in at around 5:00pm, and not only did they “give away” our intended room, but put us on the 2bd floor. There is no elevator ion the property. I’m in a wheelchair and definitely cannot do stairs. Property is pretty run down, our room had a bad odor, only one light worked, and in room fridge was excessively noisy. They advertised breakfast, but only toast available, nothing to drink, and when we asked the desk if at least coffee could be made, we were told that there may be more in 45 minutes to an hour.

I was horrified when i saw the comforter on the bed i was suppose to sleep on. So much i went out and bought linens for my stay.

Terrible experience. The first room they gave us was still full of trash and the bed was torn apart — it had not been cleaned since the previous guest. Had to go back down to get a new room. The new room wasn’t much better. There were lightbulbs missing, there was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector (assuming a previous guest smoked in the room), there were stains on the lampshades, and the mini fridge rattled all night. The swimming pool was dirty and the hot tub was cold and broken. I had called before making the reservation to ensure the pool was open, and they didn’t share that information about the hot tub. The second day, the room key was deactivated even though we were staying another night, so we had to go back down to the office for a third time to get another key. The guy who checked us in barely spoke, didn’t smile once even though I smiled at him the entire time, didn’t point us in the right direction to get to the room, didn’t apologize for the first room being dirty. The lady who checked us out was nice and professional.

I did not like the fact that the property advertises that it has a hot tub, and it does not. Also, supposedly has a "Continental Breakfast" when it is just sugary cereal, toast, waffles, and syrup. Nothing for anyone who is diabetic to eat. I feel quite ripped off by this company. And will likely NOT be coming back to them in the future. Shame too, i remember when they were a reputable company

There was an extra charge upon checking in that was not listed in the original price online that I prepaid. There was no working ice maker. There was plastic covering the box spring in place of a bed skirt. Visibly dirty. Exposed wires coming out of the wall where there may have been a smoke detector. I will not be booking a Days Inn moving forward.

Just so you know you are required to pay a daily fee (after booking) for houskeeping but don't get housekeeping service unless specifically requesting said service after paying. Ya... thats interesting... Exposed wire electrical sockets, cigarette burnt blankets. Toilet stopped up but i had to go fetch a nasty plunger from the office to handle the situation. And ummm what the hell is on the lampshade?!? Bloody handprint??? Conveniently turned towards the wall.. Id post the pic but the app won't let me. Check it out on Google.
