It was a good place to stay

Stains all over sheets. Meth pipe on the chair cushion. I took pictures and Manager said to me “you will have to get over it because housekeeping won’t be here till 8 am tomorrow and I can’t leave the office”. Half the hotel is filled with illegal immirants and they were caught looking through the vehicle windows trying to rob people. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The property itself is what you’d expect from a Travelodge—cheap, reasonably well kept, NOT a place for a luxury retreat. The basics are all here and worn but functional. Check in was super fast, efficient and very accommodating. My room is thoroughly decent and, for me, a smoking room is a real treat these days. Close to the interstate on the west edge of Albuquerque, it’s convenient to fast food and a convenience store next door. The only negative is the rather large number of homeless folks hanging out on the edge of the property. Nothing rowdy or dangerous seeming but I can see where it might make some uncomfortable. For a business man on his last night of 22 on the road, it was home sweet home enough for a night.

For the condition and location of the hotel - we overpaid at $70 for a Saturday night. The front desk is thru a bullet proof window and the location is sketchy at best. But the shower was hot. The fridge in the room worked. Heat worked great. Maybe a little too well. And we were comfy with our pets inside and not in the cold car.

Roaches in the room, homeless people, random people that were not sober knocking on our door in the middle of the night. Absolutely will not stay here again.

The area around the hotel is not safe for walking. However, the hotel has a very professional staff.

Check in was seemless and I had no issues whatsoever with the room or property. Both stay members check in/check out were kind and professional.

The room was clean, but looked very worn out. The bed blankets and curtains had holes/tattered. The area was noisey and did have police activity in the parking lot at checkout. The biggest frustration was how uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. It was impossible to sleep no matter how much we tried to find a comfortable sleeping position.
