Close to shopping with Target and Walmart a 7-20 min walk away. Rooms were average, bathroom was small. Swimming pool was closed for season. TV was good, had lots of channels, and the price was perfect. Good place, good pricing and we felt safe.

Booked here because of internet, hot breakfast, and the pool. Internet was like using dial-up, breakfast is fine if you only want to eat pancakes, and no pool (which was not updated on website) made for a rough vacation for my son. Beds were comfortable enough and our room was clean.

Outdated hotel. Did not like that you had to walk outside to get to the pool. The area is not safe. Would not stay here again. Door would not open or closed properly. The Front Desk did give us a different room.

For the price, this was poor. The check in associate was very nice and informative. I’m not sure it’s the hotels fault but the area is very unappealing. Every place we visited in Albuquerque was this way. Rundown looking with vagrants everywhere. The room walls and baseboards were atrociously dirty, hair and grime were still in the sink and vanity even though you could tell it had been wiped down. Breakfast was just one pancake maker that took a very long time and some other off brand items. The yogurt I attempted was horribly curdled. This is what I imagine from an independently named (pay by the hour) chain… not a Best Western. A few days later, we stayed at a hotel for half the price that had rooms and breakfast bar 50x better.

Bed and pillows were hard, floor was dirty, toilet was not working properly ((was running constantly), called for maintenance and he just made a pretense of fixing it. My husband finally had to fix it because the noise was bothersome.

After a couple of stays at Sure Stay hotels I believe I will not be staying at another of their properties again. The room was no cleaned thoroughly, the tv could not be changed from the channel it was on, drawers were almost impossible to pull out, electrical plugs did not work. After driving for over 9 hours we decided to go to bed and get up in the morning and leave. It maybe wrong to judge the entire line of SureStays by a handful of visits but I guess I am. It has been no different in all of our visits to SureStay. We will just stick to Best Western branded properties.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean. Pool was clean and Gym also. The location is near several conveniences and restaurants. We will stay there again. The rooms were quiet and the grounds were are kept clean. Overall a very pleasant experience!

After reading review from previous visitors, I was a little apprehensive. But for what it is, a nice cost friendly motel, I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean everything was in working condition. I asked to change rooms because the first one opened into the pool area which did not interest me. So, the desk clerk simply gave me another room with no problem. The breakfast had the usual cold items, but also included some hot items as well.

We stayed two nights here as part of our visit to Albuquerque and although we both slept well as the bed was very comfortable, our room definitely needed a refit. The bathroom was very tired and needed new grouting plus the toilet didn’t flush very well with the plumbing also making loud noises. We had a broken drawer in the chest of drawers which we couldn’t use plus the TV didn’t work which one of the maintenance men managed to mend which we appreciated. The standard of cleaning in our room was poor as the bathroom sink had not been cleaned properly and the bedroom was dusty. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking. The hotel needs to update itself as it looks very tired and our room was shabby.
