Choromar Apartments

Absolutely fantastic apartments.. with swimming pool.. I stayed 2 weeks. I had an amazing holiday.. The staff in the main hotel are very friendly.. And Carlos the bar manager, & I got on extremely well, as we are both F1 fans.. I would not hesitate to recommend this complex.. It’s bright & cheerful in the apartments, & very clean.. 10/10..😘

I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone in the future, upon arrival we were hit with a 50 euro deposit per person. To follow up on the air con it cost another 20 euro, we ended up having to go to the pharmacy as the aircon made many of us very unwell and ill during our stay. Throughout our stay we had many ants and cockroaches around our room and they did nothing to solve this. Our electricity cut out every 30 minutes and went and spoke to reception and they told us to fix it ourselves and did nothing to fix this. Our boiler broke after 3 nights leaving us with freezing cold water for the rest of our stay making showers very uncomfortable. The woman that was on reception on arrival was very angry and rude and didn’t seem to welcome us to our place upon arrival. Overall I would highly recommend not going to stay in this place for anyone looking to go.

Very mixed and slightly bazaar experience to be honest. Was given an apartment well away from main block and was nothing like the lovely photos on the site. On the plus side it was really quiet which I appreciated but really dark and pokey with only dim lighting which waz somewhat depressing and didn't want to spend much time there as a result. I stayed 5 nights and the room was only cleaned once while I was present. The cleaners did show up at 5pm the day before I left and opened the door without knocking and I was just out of the shower with just a towel round me. I wasn't too happy and had to shout at them to go away. It was a man and woman which made it worse. The night I arrived it was 12.30am and I was given a key and rough directions to.the apartment which was about 200m down a dark road. The apartment was ground floor with an unlocked gate so anyone coukd wander in. I just didn't feel safe to be honest. Im female and was there on my own. The pillows were horrible but flat otherwise clean. The main bar was lovely and warm which was nice as the evenings were chilly. Food great and very reasonable. I wasn't told about facilities though and so only discovered main pool and bar on the last day as I was so far away from them. I've since revisited site and photos which are nothing like my apartment. I'm confused as to.why they woukd put a single lady in such an isolated and vulnerable spot.

Had a really good time staying here, was block 3 room 109. Room was clean & tidy, The 2 bed apartment was massive with loads of storage space. rooms / bathroom / kitchen was a great size. Reception & staff really friendly & help full, prices on bar was reasonable & food was good. couldn't fault the place. About 10 mins to the nearest spar & a nice Irish bar right near it.

Very reasonable for the cost. Would recommend these apartments. Bar food and drinks very handy. Clean and has friendly staff. Did not have a problem with ants or cockroaches. Have day trips from reception and taxis too. 20 min walk to main areas but taxis are cheap

We have just returned from a 4 night break for my daughters hen do. Myself, sister and best friend stayed in room 101 and the room was fine with a more modern kitchen compared to my daughters and nieces room, view wasn't brilliant but unless asking for a pool view then you can't guarantee the view. Tuesday the weather was rubbish and rained most of the day. On returning from a walk first thing down to the beach for breakfast we spent the day in the bar. Selection of drinks and served by Karen who was brilliant, great cocktails and service. Ham and cheese toasties were a popular choice in our group of 18, also some had pizzas which were nice. A few had breakfasts also with no complaints. The only downside which has been mentioned in other reviews is the ants that appear on some rooms, one of which was 405 which appear from cracks in the wall at the balcony doors where the shutter strap connects to. These need to be dealt with. This room also had a dated kitchen. We were aware of the €50 per person deposit as all was stated on Jet2 information (we actually changed to this accommodation as the previous one we had booked was €250 😳), need to take your own rubbish out but the bins are out the front to the left and right so not a problem. All deposits returned after all the rooms rooms were checked. 1 of the group booked on a separate booking but didn't realise that there was other apartments belonging to this place up around the corner. Rooms were clean but some very dated and could do with a freshen up. I possibly would return but would request a pool view with the modern kitchens and without ants. 😂
