I'm currently on my last day staying in this hotel and rarely write reviews...but I couldn't let this one go. Dissapointingly we left a small hotel in Olhos de' agua because it was out of the way due to location...big mistake!!.. Ive stayed in small boutique and large hotels in Gran Canaria, Greece, Cyprus, pathos and ayia Napa. Portugal, Falesia hotel, Oceanus aparthotel. (much better customer service, quality, ) see my review) On arrival and during our stay we run into a few issues with this hotel and let's just say customer service is 0. Pros: The interior reception, toilets and bar area are modern, comfortable and inviting. Location, small mall and supermarket literally on your doorstep. 5 mins walk to McDonald's, KFC, lovely boutique Chinese, and overpriced Indian sizzler restaurant. A good 20 mins walk to the beach. Self catering rooms are big and spacious, with sofa bed. The nicer staff Stadnian and Paula are friendly. Unfortunately that's where it all ends. Cons: This hotel has to be the worst of the worst. Lack of professionalism, quality and Efficiency. Zero Hospitality. Housekeeping and cleanliness - towels only changed every 3 days, You are only given one, outdated door key, if you lose it, they don't have any spare. Rooms: outdated furniture. No spare sheets or pillows in wardrobes. Receptionist named Debra (no customer service training at all). Total disregard, when i raised our room hadn't been cleaned for 2 days. Asking for toilet tissue when we ran out, was told to collect from reception. The hotel is just for lazing by the pool, listening to awful music. Offers nothing else!! Unsure why the hotel is still 4 star grading,.. maybe many moons ago.... Clearly... it requires regrading, updating, and to invest in new management. It's Soulless and outdated like the manager, Mr Julio. He walks around with the attitude of a sour grape!! For the extortionate price , I booked 5 nights through ******* £200 a night to include breakfast. Mr Julio did not acknowledge this. Told us it was not included. Completely disregarded, ignored and refused to respond to ******* when challenged. The next day the actual hotel website was charging £155 for the same room same dates. He again refused to allow me to rebook, or give a refund for us to go elsewhere. Therefore my summary is the hotel is only interested in taking your money, and when you run into issues, they decline to acknowledge or address the issue. It is the finer detail that matters, and this hotel is wayyy off!! Believe the previous disappointing reviews. Do not waste your hard earned money. Nothing is as it seems!!
