Eden Resort

We visited end at the end of August and it was a nice stay. One of the reasons I have given it 3 points is due to the transfer. I specifically requested and checked that the transfer organised had 2 car seats for my 2 year old and my 5 month old. When the taxi arrived there was a booster seat for my toddler and the seatbelt on the car seat for my infant was broken. So I had to hold him. On arrival the staff were lovely and polite. We had a 2 bedroom villa and were taken there in a golf buggy. The villa was amazing! Really big and spacious. There was an outdoor area with loungers, downstairs toilet, an office with sofa bed, full dining room and living room and 2 large bedrooms. I really like that baby gates were fitted at the top and bottom of the stairs. We booked last minute so we didn’t have all inclusive but there was a fully functional kitchen and a Lidl 5 mins away by car. There were no issues with ants. I didn’t see one. It was nice and quiet too The other reason for the 3 rating is the food. Granted we only ate at the buffet twice for breakfast and lunch but didn’t think the food was great. There wasn’t a huge variety of food we felt and it wasn’t the best but as I said previously we didn’t have all inclusive. My kids liked the entertainment and the kids disco. I like the fact that for the slightly older kids they can actually join in the evening show. The splash park was also great for the little ones. My daughter spent the whole day there. There’s also a kids club which I took my daughter too but stayed with her and they had some colouring and activities for her to do. I also saw some older kids there and the staff really had them engaged. We also did some off site visits to zoomarine, Quinto Fotoplanet Farm and fisherman’s beach. All a taxi ride away All in all I was a pleasant stay. If it wasn’t for the transfer issue I’d give it a 4. Not everyone has the same tastes in food so I’m sure you’ll find something you like.

The setting is ok it’s peaceful, the villas are set apart - one bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, there is a buggy that will take you and your luggage from reception. On our visit we had flown out on an early flight and arrived at 12, there was only one restaurant and only one bar, the restaurant wasn’t open until 12:30 there was room wasn’t ready until three! They do everything on WhatsApp so you can see everything available on site including a resort map, it’s family friendly with kids running everywhere but quiet at night, the accommodation is beyond compare and dated but very comfortable fully functioning kitchen with microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, spacious with plenty of storage, not much in the way of entertainment though there is a free shuttle bus every hour up to 6pm into town. Would stay here again

I really can’t fault the resort in any way. The staff were probably some of the nicest I’ve ever met on any holiday. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, the entertainment staff were superb. It was just truly a great experience that I can’t thank them enough for. I hope they don’t ever change anything.

We stayed for 5 nights in October 2024. 3 adults, 3 kids (5,3,1) I’m a travel agent and we were very kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom Villa upon check in (thank you!) The resort is beautiful and well kept. The layout is perfect. So quiet and refeshing to walk around the grounds. FOOD - amazing food. We go all inclusive always and have been to 5 stars before, this was by far my favorite so far for food choices! ENTERTAINMENT - perhaps in the busier months it would be better? On our 5 night stay the circus tent was open 1 night. Mini disco in the Kiosk bar is chaos. We never got a seat even going up for 6:30pm and with the kids being so small we found it hard to keep an eye on them if you needed to sit. POOLS - nothing to fault in the pools other than the main pool, where the shower is near pool bar, they have the bins situated so there’s a tiny gap to walk in and out of the pool area and I watched many people trip into the shower! Definitely need to move the bins and open the area more KIDS CLUB - couldn’t get my 5 year old out of it! Loved it and all the staff who worked in it. The one time she wanted to leave between my 10 minute check ins on her, she was escorted to us at the pool. Staff were brilliant all round. We would come back (soon hopefully)! Thank you

Firstly the positives: Good quality food Generally quiet around the resort Good connection to Albufeira with the shuttle bus Good free WiFi throughout the resort Reception was friendly and efficient And the negatives: Staff can come across as rude and there is no effort to say hello or ask how your holiday is going Not much storage space in the apartment Our apartment was next to a busy road so quite noisy on the balcony The TV in the room did not work The pool bar closed at the slightest hint of bad weather The food choices for vegetarians were limited There is only one restaurant other than the buffet Large queues for the buffet restaurant at busy times They would not exchange pool towels one day because they were keeping them for new guests I would not return to this resort.

Had a fantastic time at the hotel, beautiful villa by the adult pool,food was amazing,good choice,& lovely staff. Down side no adult entertainment mainly kids stuff, a singer would be a great idea maybe 2 nights a week so you could stay at night instead of going to the old town.
