Eden Resort

From the very start we have had the best experience at Eden Villas. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment, all inclusive for a week and what a joy it has been. The sofa bed became 2 single beds rather than a double. We found all the staff to be welcoming and thoughtful. The reception desk staff helped us to get the most out of our week and with the taxis needed for transfers and transport to and from a wedding. The selection of food was perfect for us a family with options for my picky little one and delicious meat and vegetable dishes for us. Breakfast had a massive array of foods and different mild were available as well as gluten free options. The alcohol was branded and there was a range of cocktails too available from 10am! This is the first hotel I’ve been to where supper is included in all inclusive from 9:30pm until breakfast. The highlight for my daughter was the Family Bliss Spa (facial and massage using baby oils) and the Fairy Hands (hand massage and manicure). She also had the best time with the entertainment team and loved the letter posted to our apartment on the last day. The shows were fab! I loved the fire show by the pool. The main pool loungers looked full from 11am but it only took a word with the lifeguard and they found loungers for people. The hotel is on a hill 5-10 min from the main resort. It was around 5 Euros by taxi. They also have a beach that they shuttle guests too. Remember to book the shuttle and get the sun lounger pass as you book. The entertainment team continue the daily program on the beach and you can get a packed lunch to take with you. It was such a beautiful calm setting for the mindfulness and stretching class I can’t wait to visit again! Top tips: Room 52 was close to everything but lovely and quiet with really comfortable beds.

Lovely looking complex and staff super friendly. Great apartment, good food and variety. We found family pool very busy, adult pool was dead. A bar in the adult pool may encourage more adults. Sun beds around splash pool may also help. For sunbed need to get there between 7.30-8am. Evening entertainment finished my 9pm and more for kids. Only €4. euros into old town or you can use the hotel shuttle, so other options. Entertainment team around pool always full of energy and fun.

Just returned from a week's stay at Eden and we all had a great time. Highly recommend for family with young children. We arrived around 12 in the afternoon after a very early start. Check in was easy and staff friendly. All inclusive bands were given and a map provided of the resort. We were told that accomodation would not be accessible until 3/4pm but I received a txt at 130pm to say the villa was ready. The children (7 & 4) were over the moon to be taken via golf buggy to our villa. We booked a two bedroom apartment (party of 3 adults, 3 children ) and we're pleasantly surprised. It's the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Large, clean rooms, and a lovely seating area and private garden at rear. Main room also had an ensuite as well as family bathroom. Fully kitted kitchen too. Food was really tasty, with a delicious choice each evening, one night there was a BBQ outdoors and we also dined at the Temptation restaurant on another evening, which is an added extra (free) when booking 7 nights all inclusive (this is a must). This can be pre-booked at reception. Temptation restaurant was delicious (see pics) All staff were super super friendly and really attentive , making things easier with our 9 month old. We had tokens for pool towels which I wasn't aware of prior to arrival so that's an added perk. Save packing some. There is a shuttle bus provided, which can be used to visit the beach,Marina and old town. Another extra which I've not experienced before. But each transport provided had a baby seat / booster for each of the children and baby. On the way transfer time by coach was about an hour but got a private taxi (not arranged by us ) for the return flight which was 35 mins. Splash pad area, great for little children and the children both enjoyed the Mr whippy type ice cream from there (can only get it at this bar) Now for kids club !!! This was absolutely fantastic for the children, but particularly for my daughter, she asked to go every single day. There was so much going on all day every day to keep the children entertained. My daughter even performed in a show the entertainment team held one evening. See pic attached of availability activities. Chloe, really made the holiday for Mabli . Evening entertainment is the only area in which I can really say didn't meet our expectations. The entertainment team, worked very hard and we're absolutely superb, but this is the first holiday we've experienced where no entertainment was 'outsourced' therefore it was all down to the entertainment team every evening. The evening entertainment was held inside a Circus Tent which didn't work for us as a family. Our children loved it but because it is held in a circus tent, the only seating area was, up rickety steps and on narrow, small, benches, it was also rather dark. We have just been on a family holiday and had a lovely time. We stayed in a 2 bed villa with 4 adults and a 10 month old baby. I made a request via Jet2 for a room near the restaurant and pools due to my Mum’s arthritis and for a cot. We were located perfectly between the main pool and restaurant/bar building, and the cot was in the room waiting. The villa was a great size with plenty of room and very clean. Both rooms had massive wardrobes but limited hangers. Beds were super hard, which gave me the worst back ache so I had to book in a massage for our last day. The massage was nice and relaxing though. We hired a bouncer and changing mat which was really handy. I would have liked to be able to hire a walker and play mat/rug to provide a non slip area for my baby to play. We used the indoor pool twice as the main pools were too cold for our baby, so it was nice to have this option and go swimming as a family. The food was good, so we only ate out twice across the week. The only downside is the food was never hot, even when turning up at the restaurant opening times. The food also seemed random and no theme as such. I think themed nights like, curry, Italian, Portuguese etc would be good. The shuttle bus was great and provides 3 car seats at all times.(although one is broken) We used Su’s taxis when needing a taxi as she provided a car seat, she was lovely and was so easy to contact via WhatsApp to book. Overall we had a great family holiday and we would return.

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week as a couple with our 15 month old daughter to Eden Villas and from start to finish it was brilliant! There is so much I can talk about, but I will try to make it easy to digest but as a topline summary: If you're looking for a family-friendly resort with a focus on quality, Eden Villas is it. We enjoyed delicious food, premium drinks, and a comfortable one-bedroom apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool and spa provided a welcome respite. The 20-minute walk to town, with its scenic views, was a highlight - we'll be back! The Resort: It's a really nice size mini village with everything you need. I guess one downside would be just one central eating/ drinking area but we were in an apartment close by which was great. Location wise it's around a 20-25 minute walk down into the town centre which is lovely - a nice path with outdoor gym and play area for little ones en route too - and great bike path. You can also get a free shuttle every 2 hours from 10am which we used a few times back from our daily walk to the beach area. I highly recommend walking into the old town, then across the cliffs to the marina - gorgeous views! Kid Friendly: Everything is set up for children from lots of high chairs in the dining area, to playparks, kids club, mini-disco's, tons of car seats on the shuttle and more. The animation team were so welcoming and engaging. There is a permanent circus on site that operates in high-season but they had smaller performances on the weekend in the hotel included fire-dancing. Food: Firstly, we were aware due to it being low season that the a la carte restaurant was closed, however this was not an issue as the buffet was delicious. As vegans / vegetarians we still managed to eat a fantastic variety of food, including differing protein sources from beans, tofu, seitan, veggie burgers and soy sausages. The selection of fruits and salads was always delicious too. Vegan desserts were lacking but plenty of vegetarian options. Breakfasts there was always cooked options like beans, hash browns, toast, (meats, eggs etc) as well as pancakes, waffles, lots of pastries, cereals, fruits, yoghurts and continental too. From breakfast to end of the night, there was almost always food on offer so you definitely won't go hungry. They would theme evening buffets like Asian, Italian, Portugese etc - the Asian was particularly great! Drinks: The bar has everything you need and more. A delicious selection of cocktails served using named premium spirits eg Captain Morgans, Gordons, Aperol - as well as having Super Bock beer and Sangria on draft (both delicious!). There was always fruit water or a water station to refill your bottle too - and the option to take away drinks to the pool or back to your room. Third time going here and I fall in love with it every time. The resort is a home away from home, friendly and helpful staff, regular shuttle service to old town and algarve shopping, very clean and beautiful apartments. The bar staff are amazing, especially Thaiane who was so lovely that my son gave her a cuddle! (Hes only one and wont go to just anyone) The spa is amazing. I had a deep tissue massage (by Tatiana) this time and I can honestly say it worked wonders. I highly recommend this place, and I will surely be going back a fourth time!
