Fantastic hotel and location

A clean and pleasant hotel. We were all inclusive and the food was good but a bit repetitive like most all inclusive. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa but you have to pay for. We loved our room as it had a separate bedroom which was nice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the busy ***** of pubs,clubs and a good 30/40 min walk to the old town. The hotel does run a free shuttle to old town but we enjoyed the walk. The old town is a must as there some lovely shops, bars and restaurants.

Worst hotel ever. Had to pay €20 deposit per towel and we had two of the towels stolen together with our sun creams whilst we went swimming. You are not supposed to reserve your sun lounge but everyone does and their rules aren’t policed - at 07:00 people are reserving their sun lounge. You have got to pay for the gym, Jacuzzi , steam room etc which is contained within the spa. Too many people for the space. You had to queue up for all meals. Not enough sun lounges to go around - too many people. No entainment for adults - it’s all about the kids. We were all inclusive but the drinks were all the cheap ones. The swimming pool was always overloaded with people all the time. This is all about our experience that we endured (my wife and two daughters).

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Went all inclusive myself husband daughter and two grand daughters aged 4 and 6 Had to pay on arrival for towels 20 euro each towel had to pay 200 euro in case of breakages had to pay if we wanted a safe. Then had to pay for ice lollies for the children. The wine was out of a machine and was not drinkable. So we were all inclusive and drank water all week. Coffee machines are not out in the restaurant at night in case you sit too long. Wouldn’t toast a slice of bread for the child in case somebody else would want it. Didn’t tell us that we could ask for children’s food ie chicken nuggets fish fingers etc until day 4 They don’t put food out for children in case it’s wasted but you can ask for it but only if you know to do so. Rooms very tired but apparently have been recently done up. Some of the staff at reception exceptionally rude if you ask anything. Smell in the bathroom took a full day to get somebody to look at it. Cleaned the floor but all it done was mark the smell. All in all I would give this zero rating but it only lets me choose from 1. Lady from HR walking around the hotel happened to stop with us and asked how we were enjoying the hotel We told her everything and she said Oh that is not acceptable leave it with me and I will come back to you We arrived home 8th July and we are still waiting for her to get back Jet2,didn’t do anything for us told us it was personal preference. All in all was worst hotel experience I have ever had .

We stayed in this hotel this month. It’s a shame because the hotel itself and all the “other teams” are excellent. They are the only reason which makes the holiday and the hotel doable as unfortunately the “front desk reception team” are very diabolical, intentionally unhelpful, miserable and rude. Definitely not service with a smile. It’s actually the restaurant staff (people such as Miguel, Yasmin and all others), all the bar staff (I.e. Diago) and the entertainment team (I.e vinny, Jonathous, lily, Morgan ect) and the lovely camera man who make the stay excellent. Maybe the reception team should get trained by them. Maybe they don’t have the top level management support behind them. But either way it’s not nice for the guests. The particularly rude staff was the girl with dark brown hair in the day time and the male on the evening shift. In all honesty they ruined our stay as you became too scared to ask them for anything as it was always met with rudeness or resistance. I cannot include the porter guy who takes the luggage to rooms in this as he greets you lovely, smiles and is very polite. When we arrived we was met at the reception who charged 100 euros deposit via credit card, a tax per adult in cash, 3 euros cash daily for the safe deposit and then from downstairs it is 20 euros cash deposit for each beach towel. This is very odd and a cheek given these are basics in pretty much all other hotels. When we arrived at the room there was no towels whatsoever and the shower tray filled up with water within 1 minute and would have overflowed onto floor. Also there was no bedding/blanket sheet for the sofa bed. I called reception at 5pm -6pm to log both issues on day 1. I called again 10pm and the towels finally arrived but nothing about the shower and bedding was mentioned/rectified. Therefore one member of family had to sleep with own shawl they bought from back home. I also had to use the towels they provided for the floor in the bathroom to wipe the overflow of water from shower tray and to avoid the place getting flooded. I phoned again on day 2 as to the shower next morning and also again the same evening about 5pm. The reception man didn’t seem bothered about us/the issue. After a frustrating conversation again they eventually sent a maintenance guy who said the problem had been fixed but actually it turns out it hadn’t as he wasn’t even aware of the problem until when I spoke to him. He then stayed 20 minutes and did the job well. However, unfortunately with that we ended up getting mosquitoes in the bathroom. I had to use the towels given earlier to hit them. Over the remainder of the stay of 5 days we kept seeing mosquitoes in the bathroom. When I asked for more towels from reception it was rejected. I said so Iv had to use the towels to protect your hotel from flooding and also get rid of the mosquitos as u haven’t sent anyone to help with those or even change our room as desperately requested at 11pm.
