What used to be a lovely country club has now been ruined. Extremely over crowded. You cant park as all they care about is getting more and more members it when they have such a small car park. If you go to the gym people are queuing behind you for the machines. Same with the spa. So crowed its horrible. You have to pay extra for absolutely everything even the reformer Pilates you have to pay £10 per go on top of your £190 monthly membership cost. JOKE. Join somewhere else.

Really disappointment with how the club has gone and how members have been treated through the updates. Firstly membership prices were not reduced whilst we saw significant disruption over 6+ months. They have tried to suggest we should be grateful for the prices not rising yet they have now done so just a month after. The club is now rammed, you can’t get into classes and they clearly have no intention of pausing new member recruitment. When I asked reception I was told it was going to get worse. So at £170 per month I’m done, I will find a cheaper option as it doesn’t represent value. I would also add the despite the upgrade it’s just not cared for. Equipment is left all over the place and it’s generally not that clean. The update really isn’t all that.

They are upgrading the gym and outdoor area, the gym has now been completed - however it is plagued with issues. 1. Cold showers - literally no hot water, apparently the old system can keep up with demand! Who would of thought adding more showers and having a bigger gym would mean more hot water - you couldn't make it up. 2. Changing rooms are cold - put the heating on? 3. Car park is too small for the amount of members - often full and have to park on an unlit country lane. 4. Big gap under the sauna door with a cold draft coming through. 5. Spa hydro pool is swimming pool temperature and not what you expect from a "hot tub" - clue in the name ...hot 6. No towels available - other David Lloyds provide these. Over all disappointing experience from a premium club. I would not recommend wickeoods and will leave when out of contract. Complaining to management just falls on deaf ears and you are fobbed off with a stock "it will be fixed at some point" answer.

The friendly Country Club is turning into an ill run corporate street corner gym with no hotel facilities eratic food and drink. Parking is a nighmare as it is a building site until March 25. The gym may be good but the changing facility showers are usually cold

11.05.24 We booked our wedding back in sept 2023 and had the privilege of having Jen as our wedding coordinator, from start to finish she, and her whole team were amazing, helpful and thorough in organising our special day , when you get married you don’t realise how much is involved and Jen took the stress out of lots of issues that arose along the way , she was so lovely, down to earth and our day passed off without a hitch! It was so well organised and ran like clockwork, day and evening food was delicious and everyone commented on how stunning the venue was, the rooms were so nice to and perfect on right on site, we want to do it all over again!! Thanks Jen and all the team at wickwoods for making our day one to remember

Lovely Father’s Day dinner at Wickwoods. The staff (Misha, Rosie and I think his name was Joe) were absolutely fantastic- friendly, welcoming and professional. Thank you to all three for giving us such a lovely afternoon. The company are very lucky to have you all. Food was really tasty, nicely presented and lots of it. The Glass House restaurant is a lovely space to spend time in and the surrounding grounds make for a stunning view. Would definitely dine there again.

We can’t thank Wickwoods enough! Jenny and the whole team made our wedding day so special. It was a stress free day and our guests felt very well looked after. The venue is stunning, the hotel rooms are very luxurious and kept clean. The whole team went above and beyond. Also highly recommend for a hotel stay and the food is delicious!

STUNNING outside jacuzzi , nice showers , lovely pool , steam & sauna. Staff were friendly. Parking in carpark. Bar and restaurant. Heaters outside and even blankets definitely well worth a visit. ♀️ …………………………………………………………………………………..
