"A very nice, clean furnished house with kitchen diner,leading to a small garden.There is also a down stairs loo. Upstairs has two bedrooms with double beds & a very nice bathroom with loo & shower.The place is very peaceful for a good night's sleep, provided you keep the windows shut. Both upstairs & downstairs has air conditioning. A very nice cafe is situated across the road & it's a five minute drive to Wanaka. The staff were very nice & friendly.We will definitely stay there again."

"Smooth checkin with very warm welcome greet. Everything works great and the small washing machine was free! I love the fact that salt and pepper is provided in the kitchenette made my cooking more complete. Great Location only 10 minutes walk to the beach and town centre , great vibe! Leisure centre is 5 minutes drive away with great swimming pool and jacuzzi."

"Kind receptionist and decent living environment with good facilities; easy to park in the yard for free. We have a great experience here. There may be also some children play facilities in the yard but we arrived in the evening and didn’t explore the space a lot. All in all, a good place to live in WĀNAKA and highly recommended."

"The location is on the edge of the town, but you can walk to the center, shopping and dining are very convenient. The room itself is relatively small. It is said to have a garden view, but in fact it is just some flowers behind the kitchen. There is a flower outside the French window. You can't see the outside view after the car is parked. But if you are staying for one night, you don't care much. The kitchen is a bit small, you need to bring your own oil and salt, but a microwave is enough. The hotel requires cleaning of kitchen utensils"

"Enjoyed a lovely stay at Te Wanaka during our stop over at Wanaka. Staff took the initiative to facilitate a late check-in when we arrived late from our travel over from Mt Cook. We loved that our room had a balcony, but shame that we couldn't open it at night due to all the river flies that get attracted to the light. Of note, the room does not have fan nor aircon, but wasn't too much of a hassle as it was rather cold during our stay here. Otherwise, the room was really comfortable and toilets were clean. Plenty of good food choices too that are just a short walk away from our accommodation! Great stay for anyone planning to stop over in Wanaka"

"The hotel is in a great location, within a ten-minute walk to Lake Wanaka, with a small supermarket opposite. The hotel's public kitchen is large, not many people use it, and the facilities are very complete. The balcony of the first-floor room can be opened directly to the opposite road, and the greenery is very good. The room is also clean and well-equipped, but there is no air conditioning. It is very hot in the summer daytime under the sun, so there is an electric fan. The shower room is designed with a glass semi-partition, without a shower curtain, and children can easily get water on the floor when taking a bath."

"It is definitely a wise choice to choose this hotel! The view from the balcony is amazing, and the living room and dining room are very large. It makes me want to cook a meal with my friends. It's a pity that we only stayed for one night and the weather changed suddenly in the evening, otherwise we could enjoy such a wonderful hotel."
