Hotel Colle Del Sole

We were for a short stop in Puglia, we spent three nights in this hotel with the half board formula which we could not take advantage of because the evening before arriving they called us to tell us that it was no longer possible to have dinner as booked . However, the boy at the reception made himself available for when we arrived to advise us on structures known to them. Upon arrival we are greeted by a lady who doesn't give us any explanation of what happened but it doesn't matter, we get over it. He takes us to the room and there is great regret. Room on the ground floor with a window overlooking the public road, which didn't allow you to change unless you turned on the light because it only had blackout curtains, so even in the afternoon if you wanted to lie down on the bed you were forced into total darkness or show off for passers-by who were parking. No bathroom either, zero windows, zero air circulation and tub with a horror movie style curtain and visible drain. Repeated the curtains instead of the wardrobe. We ask for a possible paid upgrade, but the lady replies that it was not possible, ours was the last check in (at 3pm, 8pm when we had been told check in starts at 3pm...). The only notes are ok breakfast and proximity to the centre. But from a 4 star you expect much more, even a word from the staff (a simple everything is fine). This is why people then choose the usual hotel chains. At least the standards are truly 4 stars. I'm sorry to give a negative review to a probably familiar establishment, but even more so you expect the warmth that is definitely not found here.

Hôtel simple , de confort similaire à un Ibis, mais avec en plus coffre fort très grand et petit frigo silencieux. L’hôtel est bien tenu avec une très belle piscine. Personnel très aimable. Notre chambre au second étage sur piscine était très calme. Une grande penderie mais pas de placard. Salle de bain assez grande mais pas très pratique car rien pour bien faire sécher les draps de bains (du coup changés tous les jours) et poser ses affaires. Le buffet petit dej est bien mais petit (yaourt, céréales, fruits, fromages, œufs à la demande, croissants et pâtisseries). Café servi par le personnel. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture devant ou sur le côté de l’hôtel mais c’était déjà la basse saison. Cet hôtel est une très bonne base pour visiter Alberobello et le nord vers Bari. NB: resto en face de l’hôtel Puglianova ou Cibum à 3 min à pied (pour les amateurs de viande) sont très bien. Sinon en voiture à 5 min sur la SS172 La Nicchia (traditionnel et dans un trulli) ou Fidelio plus raffiné.

Siamo arrivati qui in dieci dalla Calabria per trascorrere un giorno e mezzo in questo posto meraviglioso la Puglia. Una toccata e fuga in moto ma siamo stati veramente bene. All’arrivo l’hotel si presenta benissimo pulito, bello e posizione ottima. Ad accoglierci troviamo Francesco, il receptionist, educato, gentile, sorridente, disponibile e simpatico. Ci ha anche prenotato una cena in un ristorante meraviglioso. Il secondo receptionist è Joe non da meno al suo collega Francesco. Sorridente anche lui, disponibile, simpatico e gentile. L’hotel è dotato di una bella piscina e qui abbiamo incontrato Riccardo, il bagnino, una vera chicca di questo hotel. Grazie di tutto Riccardo :) Le stanze sono molto belle, comode e pulite. Abbiamo usufruito di un bel parcheggio per le moto e la colazione è ben fornita. Insomma per noi è stata davvero una bella esperienza e contiamo di ritornarci al più presto.

Hotel Colle del Sole, alle porte del centro storico di Alberobello, con piscina. Tranquillità e relax la fanno da padrona. Personale educato e cordiale. La 1ª colazione, ne avremmo fatta anche un'altra. Da ritornarci anche solo per acquistare un TRULLO....(gadget)

L'hôtel est bien situé, proche du centre ville où l' on va à pied. L'accueil est sympa. Le personnel agréable, la chambre et la sdb spacieuses. Petit dej varié. En revanche, hôtel sans charme, chambre froide (le chauffage ne marchait pas) bruyante car proche de la route (ds le batiment annexe) et mal insonorosée. Le lit est très ferme (trop pour moi).
