The Ger Camp is located in the middle of desert near to a salt lake. You need about 2 hours off-road drive via sand dunes to reach it. The location is amazing and the trip to there is already spectacular. I suggest to arrange the pickup and car hiring from the camp. The driver was super experienced. We saw a number of private drivers who stuck with there jeeps in the dunes.
The camp is equipped with all basic needs, also aircon. For warm water we had to announce we want to shower but than all worked well. You can ask for breakfast and dinner at extra price and it’s pretty good!

The tent is look nice outside, but inside quite not clean and has a lot of fly . But it is not many places to satay inside the desert, so this is still be an option.

The room was clean and hygienic, with a starry sky and the Milky Way visible. The boss's car skills were good, and it was a different experience to cross the desert. The children especially loved this trip.

I learned about the lesser-known Badain Jaran Desert from a variety show. I was fascinated by the vastness of the desert and wanted to see its vibrant colors. I traveled with friends and stayed near Miaohaizi, nestled in the heart of the desert. They also offer car rentals, with well-planned routes. The off-road vehicles were surprisingly stable in the desert. The driver even had a drone to help with photography, which was a fantastic experience! At night, we were pleasantly surprised to see a star-filled sky, fireworks, and a bonfire outside our campsite.

Being the only campsite in the desert, you can't expect too much. The charter service was excellent. Driver Haas was very patient and even brought a drone to take some photos. The scenery was beautiful and well worth it.

The B&B deep in the desert was exceptionally well-maintained, with clean rooms and food provided. The recommended off-road vehicle drivers were reliable, knowledgeable about the roads and attractions, and arranged a tour route tailored to our arrival time.
The Badain Jaran Desert truly deserves to be considered the crown jewel of China's visitable deserts. It was breathtakingly beautiful and well worth the trip!

Located deep in the heart of the desert, with such a geographical location, there is water, internet and electricity. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable, and the food tastes good. I hired the restaurant's off-road vehicle to pick me up and ride through the sand dunes, which is more fun than a roller coaster. If you don't get carsick easily, I highly recommend it!
