Picturesque location, calm serene backwaters, idiliqe atmosphere,clean spacious rooms pleasant and polite staff. We , the class of 1975 St: Mary's Anglo Girls High School Fort Kochi met up here for our fifty years of leaving school aniversary celebration. It was a fun-filled experience thanks to the attentive staff. Food was good! Overall we had a blast !

World Backwaters is a luxurious hotel with very reasonable cost. It has an amazing location on the Vembanad Lakeside. Beautiful maintained rooms and outdoors which are very tastefully done up. Their food is delicious and offers variety. Staff is extremely professional, efficient and courteous. Whenever you plan a trip to Alleppey, you must stay at the resort.

Fantastic stay from start to end, lovely place and very friendly staff, amazing food.. We enjoyed all our experiences from the pool to beautiful gardens, and we will come back. Many thanks to Aswathy and her colleagues for making this such a memorable stay.

It was just great. The stay with the awesome views of the lake, the wonderful staff, the fantabulous food.. wow! Try the Alleppey fish. Its mouth watering. I had ordered this with Kashmiri pulao, but the chef came over and advised me to have plain rice with Alleppey fish, and overall it was awesome. This gesture was simply enough to show their caring attitude towards their guests. Not to mention their welcome with a tilak, heralding a grand welcome to the guests. Loved it!
