Celebrity Resort Coimbatore

Booked for 2 days. They Canceled our reservation due to local wedding without communication so we had to find new place in the city - Insane!!! So far not returning call and emails for the refund almost $200 USD.

I had booked a room on behalf of my English friend who was visiting near by Isha centre. They told me to pay 5500/- within 15 minutes as rooms were getting booked quickly so as to block the room. I payed instantly and was booked for next day. They sent me pictures of resort which looked very nice but all of this was a lie. When my friend reached there, the whole resort was a mess. There were broken pieces of ceiling on floor everywhere and the resort was under construction. The reception was covered in sheets. They had kept my friend's luggage in the wrong room and when my friend entered the room he described it as unkept and very untidy. The cup had hair and flies sticking to it. Nothing was prepared for the stay and other residents were also complaining. My friend left the site and asked for refund. When I called them for refund processing, the male operator told us that we are lying and the pictures taken were from somewhere else. The moment we started the conversation, he was using abusive language. We did retaliate in the same manner due to the obscene behaviour of the male operator. I truly regret even talking to these people. It's a fraud centre where they just tell you to book quickly and then cheat you. Worst experience ever. I would recommend you to actually go there before booking the place online because highly possible they will cheat others too.

The common contact number says, guest is not important and he is not bothered to listen / call the guest for arrival times etc. Worst place to be a hospitality partner. Bad customer service. They also say whether or not guest comes it is not under their service
