A dozen tents, each with its own small open-air toilet. Simple but sufficient comfort. The camp is 30 minutes by track from the national road to Al Wasil (4x4 necessary or transfer to be organized with the owner) The location is perfect, at the foot of a magnificent ocher sand dune, to be climbed in 20 minutes to enjoy the sunset. Friendly welcome from the owner (Omani) but absolute silence from the employees (Indians) in charge of maintenance and meals. The trickle of water coming out of the shower will not contribute to the desertification of the planet, especially since hot water is...cold. The floor of the tent is covered with carpet, the bed is equipped with a mosquito net and a small lamp provides parsimonious lighting. But the beauty of the place invites indulgence. No WiFi but 4G network available. Simple but good buffet meals. Possible paid activities (Camel, 4x4 tour) If you have your vehicle, we recommend spending 2 nights there (with an excursion to the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid the next day) and/or a camel tour. A small-scale camp that offers simple comfort in a beautiful location.
