We have booked our stay weeks ago for the New Year's Eve. We have paid and received our confirmation. 2 days before our check in date, the hotel messaged us saying they will cancel our booking "free of charge" as they were overbooked! This is unacceptable. It has messed up our itinerary and now we have to look for a place to stay with short amount of time and the hotel price would be higher. I am pregnant and on our babymoon and is looking forward to some spa pampering, instead we are now so stressed out looking for a place to stay!

The reviews said this place was quiet, depressing would be a better way to describe it, there is literally no atmosphere, the staff are nice enough however, the rooms are very tired, the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere..........

Excellent service and a beautiful and tranquil place to rest. Very peaceful, comfortable and delicious Moroccan food. Every member of staff made my stay at the Taj Atlas memorable- friendly, kind and helpful. This is the perfect getaway if you are looking for peace and quiet. ♡

We had a very mixed experience of this hotel. Our original room (107) was not what we had expected (booked via secret escapes), and it was substandard, dirty, loud and had a broken shower. The receptionists (and I think hotel manager) did upgrade us for the next day (fully booked the first night) and our second room was perfect. The spa was closed for maintenance so during an unseasonal storm there was very little to do as we couldn’t sit outside. I think we were just very unfortunate with multiple negative experiences. Once the weather improved the area was lovely. Grounds staff cleaned the area thoroughly and ensured it was tidy. Restaurant staff were lovely, the food was great. Drinks were expensive but you expect it in a remote resort. Pool was clean. Pros: staff are great and food is good. It’s a lovely place to be away from busy marrakech and relax for a few days (weather permitting!) Cons: some rooms are pretty dated and in need of renovation. Facilities are lacking. Repetitive music round the pool, it’s fine if you enjoy maroon 5 and Rihanna. Top tip: if you get a clear sky night go up on the roof terrace for star gazing away from the lights. Would recommend booking a suite. It is far from anywhere so don’t expect to be near anything. It is a remote resort. It is not close to marrakech.

This is no more than a 3 star in my opinion. In desperate need of a good makeover, the room we were in (104). The bathroom needs to be completely replaced.The small pool has no steps, no signage to say the depth, it looks like a couple of feet in depth however it is more like 1.5 metres. Children's area needs to be fenced off.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et un professionnalisme irréprochable un grand merci a Saber. Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, avec des vues à couper le souffle et des installations qui offrent un véritable moment de détente. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables, et parfaitement entretenues. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité du service, toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins. Chaque détail a été pensé pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Un grand merci encore pour cette expérience inoubliable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

On a pu passer un séjour inoubliable à Taj Atlas. Le personnel est très accueillant et au petit soin. Très bonne piscine et jardins somptueux. En plus il est proche du desert Agafay pour vivre une expérience exceptionnelle de tours en quad en plein desert. Grand merci à toute l'équipe et particulièrement à Mr. SABIR
