The hotel we booked was fully booked, so we were later arranged to stay in another hotel on the island, but in the same group, and were given a one-bedroom pool villa. We stayed here for a weekend and overall enjoyed our stay. But had the impression that the place was missing a manager or two. As others have commented, the food in the Italian restaurant was hit and miss. At breakfast the dishes were not refilled so the mushrooms were cremated and the bircher muesli dish was empty at 9am and not refilled at 11am. Room service worked for us except that the plates were not removed until noon the next day by which time the wildlife had messed up. The safari ride, horse riding and kayaks were all much enjoyed as was the pool. The boat ride worked smoothly. Loved the rock hyraxes, gazelles and flamingos in the grounds.
