Featured location with amazing surroundings and ocean view, however is somehow not worthy of 4 hours of journey from Dubai. The beach behind the hotel is under construction when arrived and the staicase in right hand side of the building is extremely dirty and stinky. Furthermore, the service and cuisine of Al Shams restaurant is below average level for a 5 star hotel restaurant. Most of the value of this resort comes from its location and natrual view, will not visit again.

Make an appointment in advance for the time of the boat on the island to the dock butler one-stop service, lounge luggage are helped to send to the hotel and then the boat on the island to stay at the front desk to book activities diving fishing watching animals and so on safari tour guide brother is very good
The rooms are very nice and the beach pool in the hotel is very nice and the photos are very good. Several hotels on the island have cars for each other. The dinner we chose costs AED 1,000 and there is a 15% service charge

Very nice island and was greeted gleefully by a team of staff who were very nice at the jetty to get on the boat headed for the island. Ramesh from Srilanka was very nice guy who was really good at his job. Elly was the guide on the boat itself and great guy too. Reached the hotel on the island and was greeted by George who was very kind and explained everything very well. Overall great stay. Only drawback was the pricing of the activities which I felt were overpriced and also didn’t get prompt responses on the hotel app chat even though I was specifically told that was the fastest way to communicate. Food and staff at olio Italian restaurant was super.
And let and probably the best part of our trip was the safari and a guy called younis who was super informative and made it a memorable trip.
Also one thing been noticing recently with quite a few resort hotels is the staff look artificially happy not like they want to be there. Anyway overall great stay and one night is more than enough to be honest on this island as during this month of January sea water is super cold so can’t really swim in the sea and enjoy the beach. Pools were temperature controlled so that was great.
One point to be noted is while arriving the staff were extra friendly and helpful but while leaving not much communication and no water or wet towels provided either. It felt like they welcome u greatly but then send u off on ur way without real care. 😎🤷🏽♂️

The room was very clean, and an extra bed was added for free. The hotel has a lot of activities and is suitable for family travel.
Food and beverages are a bit expensive, but the buffet is more cost-effective. I relaxed most of the time.

Thank you for the hotel's generosity in upgrading our pool villa in the animal hotel. It was a pleasant surprise! The kids loved it. The birds were so cute, and the cuckoo chickens were also very funny. But there was a female peacock that was too tactless. Hahahaha. The safari I was looking forward to the most didn't have a good time. I wanted to watch the sunrise on the grassland, but it rained. It was a bit regrettable. In short, the time spent in the hotel was very pleasant and I will miss it.
