The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in my life! The staff here celebrated our birthday and sent us cakes and champagne, as well as greeting cards! We participated in the antelope feeding and camel riding in the hotel! Camel riding is highly recommended, you can see a beautiful sunset in the desert! It's my first time staying in a hotel in the desert, so exciting! I'm very happy, and I must come to this Ritz-Carlton Desert Hotel again if I come to Dubai again!!! Thank u to all the Ritz Carlton staff who made our trip more fruitful and memorable!!!

From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect, and your hotel exceeded all our expectations in every way. The hotel itself is stunning, with its breathtaking surroundings, spacious and comfortable rooms, and the private pool was simply amazing. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by your entire team. Every single staff member we encountered greeted us with the warmest smiles, making us feel truly at home. We were especially touched by the thoughtful gestures for our child. The staff noticed we were traveling with our little one and immediately arranged a sofa bed, ensuring our family’s comfort. The horse riding and desert activities were unforgettable memories, and we are particularly grateful to the lovely lady who helped us arrange these experiences. A special thank you to Mr. Javaid, who took us on a magical desert sunset tour. The photos we took during that time are some of our most cherished memories from the trip. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ahmed Karim, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. He gave us a wonderful introduction to the hotel, arranged taxis for us, and solved any issues we had with such care and professionalism. His passion for the hotel was evident, and it truly made us fall in love with The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah as well. The Chinese New Year celebration at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. The “sky lantern” activity was beautifully organized, and we were deeply moved by the efforts of the staff who learned to say “新年快乐” (Happy New Year) in Chinese. It made us feel so special and welcomed during this important festival. This stay was nothing short of magical, and it was undoubtedly the best part of our trip to the UAE. would first like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Neeraj (Bhaggi driver), who was extremely polite, helpful, and generous with his time. He took us around the resort, showing us many spots without charging anything extra—truly appreciated! Apart from Mr. Neeraj, every other staff member we encountered—Mr. Venkat, Mr. Prasad, Mr. Amin, and a few others whose names I unfortunately don’t recall—were equally polite, welcoming, and helpful. The service throughout our stay was very, very fast and efficient, which added to the overall comfort. The check-in experience felt quite royal, and the room exceeded expectations. It was spacious with a large bedroom, a huge washroom, and the best part—our own private pool. The view from the room was beautiful, with natural surroundings and the calming sound of nature all around. It felt very peaceful and refreshing. However, a few things could definitely be improved. The washroom didn’t have a lock, which impacted privacy, and many of the electrical switches were either not working properly or felt quite outdated. Breakfast was overall awesome, though a few dishes were undercooked. For dinner, we went to Gobi, but honestly, the taste didn’t match the price. We ordered fried rice with chicken, but it had a strong seafood smell, which was disappointing as we don’t eat seafood. Unfortunately, the dinner didn’t feel worth the money we paid. The resort offers a lot of activities like animal encounters and a falcon show, which are great. But due to the extreme summer heat, we couldn’t enjoy them fully. In summary, while there were many positives—the service, staff, private pool, and natural ambiance—some aspects, especially the food and a few room facilities, didn’t quite match the value for money we expected.

Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for a two-day birthday celebration. Villas are beautiful if classic / old-school with interiors on the dark side. Don’t go for the lowest category as those villas are very dense together and lack privacy. Private pools are spacious, and it’s amazing to see the oryx and gazelles come close to your pool. Lovely breakfast. Rainforest experience spa is fun and good value but beware as you may be kicked out of the lounging pool if there is a private booking after your slot. Public pool is not too great. Tried the Japanese restaurant, it was not bad quality but frankly overpriced. Would come again for the landscape and animal experience.

It was an unforgettable experience in one of the best villas in this hotel. Everything was thought out at the highest level, every detail. Tomorrow includes several dishes from different cuisines. It was very great. And I think that I will come back here more than once. If you want to immerse yourself in atmosphere, luxury, comfort and privacy, then this is the hotel. Exactly what you need. Ideal for a romantic time, If you want to surprise your other half. Be sure to purchase a visit to one of the villas. You will be able to enjoy the animals that will approach you while you are lying in the pool. The forest spa was really nice dont miss it.
