Ayla Grand Hotel

My stay here was excellent. I traveled alone as a single western woman, had a safe and pleasant experience. The hotel is very clean, highly professional, the services are easy to access (cafes, restaurant, spa, pool, and gym are all top notch). The room was spacious, clean, I booked the classic executive suite with kitchen but no cooking facilities. I brought my own induction cook top and groceries, which was great. The kitchen was really big and able to accommodate big meals and small snacks. The bathroom was great, very spacious with a luxurious bathtub and separate shower stall. The best thing about the place was the customer service. I have 11 packages sent to myself from Amazon, and Yunip the concierge was gracious to hold all the packages for me until I arrived. Extra shoutout to him -- thank you! The reception service was also great, they were able to accommodate my late check out. Everything was perfect, will return again soon. Thankyou!

I loved the interior design of the room and very spacious. The design is better than the other hotel I went before. Everything you need its already in the room, It nice seeing quality hotel in Al Ain. I didnt expect that the price I paid was beyond my expectations. This hotel came with the recommendation of our local HR Department. Being an experienced business traveller I have high standards and can see beyond the initial wow factors. There was external renovation being completed at the time but hotel cannot be criticised for that. Good view of the mountains and pool from 4th floor room. Quite a lot of families at the pool but careful observation and picking quieter times was easy to do. I now know that for guest picking suites or villas there is a separate, quieter pool. Trader Vics is a feature, as is the downstairs bar. Drinks are good value. Food a little on the expensive side. The key feature for me was the service from staff. Excellent. Will always go the extra mile.

The environment is very good. It is in the city center, next to a large supermarket and shopping mall. The parking lot is large and free and convenient. The room is more than 60 square meters. It is a suite. It is very spacious and nice. Maybe I will never have the chance to come to this first-tier city in the future. I recommend it to everyone.

If I can summarize the experience in this hotel, it's one of the worst hotel I have ever been my whole life. They say it is a four stars hotel, but I assure you it wouldn't even reach the standard of a normal hostel as they are not following the international rules of hospitality, and this comes from a frequent traveler and someone working in hospitality field. Now, to explain my experience it's the first time to face such an issue where the hotel is kicking out their customers. After booking, paying and confirming the reservation for 2 nights 3 days, next day we head to the hotel and we reach 9 pm. As soon as we arrived, the guys gave us the news, yes you have booking but you will stay only 1 night and the next days 12 pm you have to leave as the hotel is booked by the government. When we asked why you didn't inform us earlier, they say we got the news 3 hours ago. Yes they had time to inform us anyways.. then we asked that we need to solve this issue and as they are responsible of this incident, they say we can't do anything for you, check in and leave tomorrow 12 pm. OK what about our money? We shall get it in 4 days to 2 weeks as it's through *********** Away of that, the way of hospitality we have received of lack on communication and handling a furious customer who is coming late night on such Hazzard news. While we were leaving, and after filing a complain to the tourism authority about this hotel that we shall never visit again, they say ” the hotel is being taken for quarantine”.. sorry but why you never even informed us this from the beginning. Why everything has to be late and you have to leave your customer in the street with an unplanned accommodation Such an awful hotel that even iy foenst the one start rating I gave, as if it was me, I would give them maximum QUARTER star. Note: Night shift supervisor with the name Abdul Muthaleb, is a real example of lack in communication and solving problems. Talking to the guest in a manner as if he owns the world saying NO SOLUTION. Complaint has been filed to the tourism authority hoping we get our rights as a customer being humiliated as such.

The hotel is super quite and clean. A bit far away from the centre but there is a mall next to it that has everything. Recommend.
