Golden Beach Bodrum by Jura - All Inclusive

Run from this hotel do not come here...we don't recommend this hotel special if you come with small childrens. Room are small and out dated, food ....there's no many options and no so tastes. Service? What is that? They do not have any services 😒 barmans do not know to do a proper drink. They know just turkey language. No many people know English. The worst hotel and holidays we had ever.

So ill start with the good. A week before we were due to travel we emailed the hotel and explained we are travelling with an autistic child and requested a room that had a seperate bedroom for the kids giving him the space he needs. We had a reply stating they would try to help with the request so we were on a positive note before we came but thats where the positive stops...... Came to stay for 1 week with our 2 children for a relaxing break. Hotel is suppose to be a 4* but I'd say closer to a 2*. Most staff don't speak English so difficult to communicate. We arrived in the very early hours of Friday evening and the reception desk was manned by a staff member with limited English but probably the best we have had so far. He admitted he was a new staff member and wasn't able to answer some questions for us and got lost looking for the room but we understood he was new. Maybe dont leave someone with lack of experiance to check someone in without the proper knowledge. Food not great at all lack of options only fruit they have is apples and watermelon which everyone piles their plates up so it's gone within seconds, it's like survival of the fittest trying to grab food before it's demolish by others.... by the 2nd day we had to ask for a new pillow as the one we had was bumpier then a camels back and for some fresh towels which was sorted. On day 3 we had to ask for our room to be cleaned as not been done so far, reception said no problem. By 4pm the room was still not cleaned so back to reception to ask again. We then had to wait for it to be cleaned before we could shower for the night! On day 4 we were told the room would be cleaned thoroughly so we head out for the day for a boat ride (which was great) looking forward to a shower to find the beds had been changed but nothing cleaned! By this point im fuming, head to reception to see the guy who told us the room would be cleaned hiding in the office but another gent and he had put a note to the cleaners and it would be cleaned in 10 maybe 20 minutes so we go to the pool for a little longer. On returning to the room an hour later its not cleaned. Now i just want them to give me the cleaning stuff and ill do it myself. Decided to make sure we was out of the hotel on excursions for a few days for a break and for different/better food. Hotel is in major need or a refurb the pool side is knackered with the plastic grill breaking away. Nails popping up out the wooden floor by the bridge (which has now been fixed since my Google review) and parasols don't always work. Had to ask 3 times for staff to help in the end we gave up. We reported the health and safety of the broken plastic grill to bar staff. Good luck to the hotel with a insurance claim when someone hurts themselves. If you take small children be aware the the 2 main pools do not have a shallow end at all so all around is 160cm. Only baby pool is the tiny pool which comes to my ankles. - The hotel was very dirty, including the room and all communal areas. - not enough sunbeds for guests - full of high schoolers finishing their school year - Communication was extremely difficult as almost no staff spoke English. - The food offering was poor, with very limited variety and low quality. In six days, fish was served only once, and all meat was clearly frozen – nothing fresh. It felt like we were eating supermarket frozen meals every day. - The entertainment was very basic, despite the staff's efforts. - we were given a double bed room instead of a family room for the first two nights. - room service not regular the floor was super dirty. Furniture broken and very outdated.
